So many Pending Stars...so little motivation..
A strange thing happened to me on the train today. I got on, and was spotted by my friends Clare's boyfriend, Ben. So, we sat down together, and had a long chat about Star Wars, Nerds and Red Dwarf, with anime being mentioned a few times as well.
I was glad that I actually got the chance to really talk to Ben for once, as I discovered that he is equally passionent about many of my nerdings as I am.
So, after that long discussion, we reached his stop and bid farewell.
After he had left, a man who was sitting across from us turns to me and asks "Excuse me, were you saying that you're an anime fan?".
Turns out, this guy has recently begun watching a few series, and had yet to meet anyone that shared his passion. I gained even more respect for this man when I learned that he too hates Naruto (YES!).
So then, the two of us were talking for quite a while about what series we liked and hated and exchanged phone numbers before reaching his stop.
Soon after he had left another man, this time the guy sitting opposite asked me "Do you know Erin Turner?".
I said "Yes, I do"
"I remember you! We met at her 16th birthday party. I thought it must be you when you started talking about anime! You know Nicky too!".
He was right! I felt guilty however when after talking to this man for 10 minutes or so, I still could not remember his name.
Thankfully, before he left, he said "Next time you see Erin, tell her Miro says hi".
Of course! "NOW I REMEMBER YOU!!!" I called after him.
"I knew you would once you heard my name!"
Why didn't he say so earlier!
Well, that's something that will probably never happen again, but it was good to get to talk to all 3 of the friends I met today ^^
