    There's some kid getting around the mugglenet comment pages going by the name "Kadaj". I have to do a double take whenever I see him comment, because I always think of that name belonging to Matt!

    My god, there is nothing happening at work today...

    So, anyone want to buy a house in a small rural community North East of Melbourne?

    The locations not good, but the weathers bleak!

    Ahh, I have to download his new Shamanic Princess vid as soon as I get home. Shamanic Princess always makes for beautiful AMVs ^^
    I wish we had it on DVD here in australia, but alas, I only have my dated fansubs.
    Still, great series *thumbs up*

    Weird day I've been havinh so far. First, my unsocialable cat climbed into bed with me before clawing my feet. Then there was some stray dog as big as a horse trying to get to my rabbits X_X

    Then, my 3 year old niece sat down to watch Cardcaptor Sakura with me for about 20 minutes, but since it was in Japanese I thought I would find my old taped-off-TV tapes of the dreaded English version "Cardcaptors" so that she might understand it only to have her become bored in 2 minutes and want the Japanese version back on.
    You're a smart child Abby.

    Now I'm at work, and ate so much Spring onion for breakfast that it's now all I can taste, smell and think of. Even after brushing my teeth, eating some gum AND eating a tub a stawberry yogurt, it still has dominance in my mouth!

    I HAVE DEFEATED SONY VEGAS!!!!


     
  • OFF CHEST RANT MUST GET!!! 2006-05-26 20:59:58 The following post won't mean anything to most of you, however I feel that I really do need to get this off my chest. A friend of mine is recently developing a rather dangerous and irresponsible habit.
    Her most recent act has been particually hurtful to those around her, and she can't see why everyone is taking the matter so seriously. This girl has only recently turned 18 years and for to be developing such a habit so soon is even more of a concern.
    What makes me really frustrated with her this time is that when it first happened she approached me about it over msn, the first time she has talked to me on msn in what must have been a year. She jumped at the chance to tell me what she had done as soon as she could, and then after being asked for my thoughts on the matter, i gave her some support, during which she got bored and stopped typing.
    It seemed as though the only reason she started a convo with me was so that she could brag about what a terrible thing it is that she has done.
    It's as though she sees these acts as some kind of acceptence, that people must want her attention if they are wanted to do that with her.
    Well, surprise surprise, her boyfriend found out what happened, as did all of the friends who sympathised with her last time when she said she wouldn't do it again.
    Now, after a range of people have finally had enough and a starting to tell her what they really think, she feels like she is being victimised.
    The final straw came when she posted up a long rant in livejournal about how terrible everyone is treating her and how she needs someone to tell her they care.

    I am becoming increasingly concerned for my friend. She is a good person, and a good friend. There's no need for her to be running around like this.
    She needs to understand that the kind of attention she is recieving from the opposite sex is not positive attention.
    She is being far too irresponsible, and until she recognises just why everyone has become so dissapointed with her instead of playing the part of the victim, I'm afraid, she may not change. She herself admits that this has become habit now.
    Still, I guess it's human nature to never admit to your faults and in situations such as this one would prefur to see themselves as the victim, not the criminal.
    I'm afraid theres not much I can do in this situation, however, until my friend learns to change her ways, I'm not going to sympathise for her either.
    She brought this upon herself. I only wish she could see that.

    I just finished watching Katies new AMV. I won't say too much, since to my knowledge she herself has not publicly named the anime or song, so I'll keep that a secret, but, wow!!

    She did good!!

    There's a lot more effects than what she usually uses, and lets just say, she knows what she is doing. But, the best thing about this new AMV was the feel of it. She really captured the mood of her chosen anime. *nods*
