  • It's kinda a sad state of affairs right now 2003-07-04 23:37:18 I haven't updated this sucker for quite sometime now. I really need a vent and so i guess this is why i use this combined with the poetry i post. Besides the fact that everyone in this whole, fucking 70K+ community thinks that i'm gay cuz i use poetry as an outlet for my emotion really means nothing to me. Actually, very little means anything to me. My job is boring as hell. I hate some of my co-workers. Especially the guy that trained me. Man, what a fucking asshole. I was going around the store on my rounds and five minutes early he comes in and is all like "You're off" in a very cold, almost hostile manner. It was, I think, unkind. I mean, really, i look up to this dude. I think of him as a mentor and he kinda gets really pissy. Oh, well.

    DJ Josepi realted news, though no one cares, there are songs currently under production. I think that the best way for me to get the feel that I want is to sing the lyrics first, write the melody, harmony, and beats after. I think that that will give me more control over the way that the songs sound and the way that I can control the feel of them. I don't want them to be really whiney about my past like alot of my poetry is but i do want them to come straigt from the heart, where it counts. When i do a song and the finished result happens, i want to feel it. I want others to be able to feel that vibe like, yeah this is pretty cool. I don't want to be a oneshot though like daniel beddingfeild though. I want this to be something that i might be able to look at as a career. It's kinda weird, cuz I like the production aspect of it more than I like the singing and getting personal, but hey, that's just me.

    Art/AMV related news, i really suck at both but wanna do more. I do plan to have one AMV out by the end of the summer. That's my vow. Now that i told you all, though no one even reads this or cares, I will do one. It will probably be Evangelion related or Escaflowne, or you never no, I might fuse both into some strange mix since i am the proud owner of all the episodes of both anime.

    That's about all that has happened to me.

  • Meteora Is Hybrid Theory 2003-06-29 16:18:31 I was revisiting the new LP umm... LP and found that most of the songs had very much the same tempo and could be mixed on top of each other, I have found myself singing things like Papercut to another song on Meteora and vice versa, i'm actually planning to mix some songs like this when i get the proper software to remove vocals.

    Speaking of mixing, i got a few songs planned to air soon. Keep watching DJJOSEPI.TK and you'll see, er, hear, or maybe both if i get the time to plan an AMV to one of them after i add my own personal touch.
