    My .02 cents on quick comments...Like I said, I've been somewhat lucky I haven't gotten any hatefull ones. (OTH - I've had 3 real comments deleted for all '1s' with no reasons given so I haven't been totally jerk free.)

    BUT...I like the way that no matter what they think of you or your vid, there is no score that counts against you. One of the all 1s was a ploy to bump one of my videos out of the 'under opinionated' list which really sucks. Not that I care a flying frog about such things as the top 10% list (Ok, I'm lying), but to be that wrapped up into the numbers game to resort to dirty tricks like that...sheesh.

    Plus, I figure if they're bad comments but don't know who they're from, I don't have to take them seriously. Bad comments from an identifiable source are as personal as a punch in the nose...and likely to draw an equal and opposet reaction.

    I gotta give a big shout out to Godix for the title to my newest vid which I'll upload later tonight. (The Dokoru-chan AMV) :teeth:

  • Rippy the gator went rip-rip-rip 2005-11-02 07:51:39 Started ripping my Hina DVDs for the PMS vid. Got some good suggestions for the 'Baka Hall of Fame' idea but found out it sounds suspiciously like a concept someone else had mentioned in the forum. That may or may not matter since they haven't actually made it yet, but I'd hate to have another 'Negima' on my hands. (My Negima vid with 'Time is running out came out virtually at the same day as a Naruto vid using the same song. I suspect that partially why damn few give Negima a chance.)

    Did get an inspiration for another vid...last night I was listening to a CD I have of old Sid & Marty Kroft TV show themes...H R Puffenstuff, Dr. Shrinker, Land of the Lost, etc. and suddenly started matching up anime with the different songs. I've got 9 or so I'm thinking of patching together AMV Hell-style...

    H R Puffenstuff - (Still thinking about which anime would work, but since this was their 'signiture' show, can't exclude it.)

    Lidsville and Electrawoman and Dynagirl - Both would work with Sailor Moon

    Wonderbug - That jeep from Ilia's vids...have to find my own clips though.

    Far out space nuts - Outlaw Star

    Dr. Shrinker - Cosplay Complex

    Lost Saucer, Land of the lost, Sigmund the seamonster - Still thinking about these.  
  • JubJub2 2005-11-01 11:47:22 Somehow I missed your comment yesterday. I toyed with that very idea last year after Ohayocon when the largely Yaoi fanbase was rather indifferent to 'Girls'.

    Problem is a conspicous lack of 'pretty boy' anime in my collection. :P

    But I'm still looking into it...
