I've never seen 'Air' so I don't know about that, but I'll have to check my Onegai Twins collection.
I'd have to sit down and figure out how to shorten it. Essentially, I want to cut out as much of the instrumental parts as possible and the opening lines repeat so that can go. If I can end up with something under 2 minutes, that'lll be great. (I've learned a lot about people's attention spans in the past year. 9 minute novelty songs just don't stay funny that long.
I wonder where Paizuri the mod got his avatar from? (It looks sorta Onegai Twin puppet-ish)

The song is KC and the Sunshine Band's 'Boogie Man'. I'll have to look at the concept* more to get an idea if this will really work but I may take you up on it.
Mixing is not something I have much experience with. I did a hack job on my 'Simon' AMV when I actually hoped for a bad sound.
*Here's the idea...In a major new fansub release called 'Karin', one of the characters has a hand puppet named 'Boogie'. I've seen a wierd number of puppets in shows lately....Gojukou Seitokai, I spotted some in Love Hina and I may even slide in Midori no hibi. I want to edit the scenes so it looks like the puppets are singing/acting the song. -

After getting out of the hospital yesterday morning, I spent a bit of time on my computer working on the Naru cliche video. (I'm still toying with actual title ideas although I don't think It'll be as hard as the last one.) Thought I'd cut enough clips but I left out several scenes that I now want so I had to rip some of my DVDs a second time this morning. I laid 40 or so seconds...most of it is turning out well but I do want to change at least one scene I think could be better. (Too much lip flap.)
Had ANOTHER idea for an AMV yesterday. I can't decide if this is genius or really stupid. The problem is the song. I have the classic version which is 4 minutes long...too long to really work for my idea. I have a 2 minute 'live' version which the timing is right, but it was recorded significantly later in their career and dosen't have much of the classic sound. I'm trying to figure out if I can take the original and shorten it and still make it sound good. - Don't pay the ransom 2005-11-10 11:39:49 Looks like things were not >quite< as bad as I thought.
