You are now 14 again! Congratulations! Call me if you need a ride to chess club, band, or the school dance. ;)

Well, yup for the band and chess club...but luckily I had my moped liscense.
Actually, 14 was a so-so year. Nothing really stands out except for being '1st' trumpet in band and getting all of the good parts.

15 was much better...entering H.S. for the 1st time, and earned a reputation of being the 'big fish' of the freshman class.

Then they closed my original H.S. and shipped us cross town where all hell broke loose...the classic battle of snobs vs. the slobs. (Very long story) I ended up going from top dog to a 'rebel without a clue' until I figured out how to subvert the system from the inside. (Nothing was sweeter than in my sr. year, during a planned meeting with the mayor as a 'top student', than hearing one of my antagonists being told her pink and green outfit was too garish and she was being left behind.)
  • >But who would want to be 14 again? 2005-11-30 13:08:39 ME! ME! ME!!!! :)
  • ayanefan 2005-11-30 12:45:26 My sympathies...I've been fighting pnemonia for 2 weeks now...sinuses AND lungs want to head south for the winter. I've felt completely miserable.

I'm 10 months away from 40, err 39 again myself. It dosen't help that despite a fairly young mind, I've got a body a 60yo would despise.

Everything hurts. And what dosen't hurt, doesn't work. :(
  • Speak up! 2005-11-30 10:38:04 @the 34+ year-old seeking peers.... Yeah, there's old folk on the org as well. They're the ones with walkers and oxygen tanks in their avatars. Or, quite possibly the best at spelling and grammar. You can never tell. Noobs know no age limit.

Damn, I hate when my hearing aid batteries go dead. :)
  • Heh heh... 2005-11-28 17:47:57 My QCs aren't nearly as interesting...

OTH - I could always post more song lyrics. }:>
