tearing off appendages and feasting on my dessicated corpse.
Its begun at work again. Tidings of joy and all that other stuff...manifesting into piles of candy and cakes and cookies on my desk. Just the thing a diabetic who has already lost body parts needs.
I've GOT to get my tail busy and wrap up at least that one last piece for the Xmas MEP. -

Life's been par for the course lately. On Tuesday, one of the battery cables snapped on my van. I can't locate the end that is still attached to my van and I've found a number of broken wires from previous owners attaching god only knows what. I tried attaching the broken end to a part of the frame and that >should< have worked but it didn't. (I guess the part I was attaching it to was insulated from the main frame.)
I did have some progress this afternoon but need to get a metric tool set to get ahold of a bolt I need to loosten to attach a new cable.
I ended up leaving work 4 hours early today. My cold has taken a turn for the worse lately...running to catch the bus when the van first broke down and having to stand for 20 minutes in 13F weather today when the *&^&%%$^$# bus ran 4 minutes ahead of schedule and I got to see it pull away just as I rounded the corner. (Not to mention outside working over my van in the cold.)
