I'm hanging in there. I 'see' XD the eye doctor Thursday for an evaluation. I hope he's ready to quit jerking around and get ready for the surgury I need to get the blood clots out of my eyes so I can see right again.
I'm also in the middle of trying to get myself on the waiting list for a kidney transplant. Once I actually get on the list, it should be a fairly short wait for me but they have to make sure I'm pretty healthy in the meantime. ('Healthy' being a realtive term. Right now my organ doner card says "Are you kidding?") Wednesday I have minor surgury to take two tubes out of my chest...my original dialysis tubes.
Part of getting on the donation list means I have to be certified completely infection-free. Which has meant a trip to the dentist. I was a little uneasy about how that would turn out since the last time I was at the dentist was over 20 years ago. (Yes!) The dentist said I surprised the heck out of him though...only one little cavity. He'd seen worse in his regular patients who show up every 6 months. -

Had laser surgery on the right eye last Thursday (Man, that stings!) and the left is scheduled for this Thursday.. Sometime after that I'll have to have that ;other; proceedure done where they suck the fluid out and filter it. I've got LOTS of blood clots inside of both eyes that are obstucting my vision.
