Warning for those of weak stomach...This is REALLY disgusting.
Whats worse than a cold that lingers for a week? A cold with a sinus infection and an eye infection.
Wife and I took off Saturday for our 'Valentines' getaway...a weekend in a hotel with in-room jacuzzi in the Cincinnati area. Hotel was everything it was cracked up to be. (Wife is pretty uneasy when I book online. My track record is NOT that good when trying to get bargains on rooms.)
I hit a home run this time though...wife actually half considered canceling our Florida trip in April to book a week at this hotel again.
Unfortunatly, we didn't get to do much running around like we'd wanted too. Due to the sinus infection, I started honking out massive quantities of brown-red goo. (The color was coming from ruptured blood vessels resulting in a near-constant nose bleed.) To add insult to injury, I ended up with an eye infection Sunday that made just trying to drive home very painful. (No, not pinkeye, thank god. About once a year I get a build up of cells in my eye that LOOKS a lot like pink eye and is VERY painfull and makes me sensitive to light. I have to use a special eye flush to get the cells out.)
Somehow I suffered through work under the same conditions yesterday. Things are slowing down today. The eye only gives a slight twinge and the bleeding/running nose is slowing down too.
