Final tally - 71 for, 79 against. Oh well, its better than I originally figured it would be. I wanna recount! :(
Have two ideas that are almost ready to go to the drawing board. Problem is that I 'visulize' some effects (split screens) that I don't think my program can do. This morning I was listening to one of the songs over again trying to get some inspiration and had a blast like a H-bomb. If this joke goes over it'll be one of the funniest things I've ever done. Bad news is that the only ones who will get it are AMV.org regulars. -

Wow. - Banner update 2004-08-12 13:51:28 50 for vs. 25 against. The suspense is excrutiating...I hope it lasts. Right now, out of all 21 banners, I'm tied with one other for the most 'yes' votes. Even if this dosen't get the 91 out of 150 needed, I feel this was worth it.

A little surprising...looks like 32 for so far vs. 19 against. Not bad out of a very crowded class of 21 banners being voted on. Of the 6 that did get a thumbs up from me, my own had the highest number of 'good' votes.
That dosen't mean that others are not being voted higher. A sad fact of life that is becoming apparent is that my tastes are NOT usually in line with the majority around here. Its like high school all over again. -
New video, 1st banner

Been a week or two since my last journal entry. Don't know why I bother since almost nobody reads this thing. (except the 12 of you so far.)
Last week I threw together a quick and dirty video - "Ghost Chickens in the sky" and of all the dumb luck, its my highest rated full-length video to date. I was prouder of my first video which is sadly lacking in a lot of areas. I mean, I thought this thing was trash by my normal standards but everyone else likes it.
Stewing on a couple of new ideas and going nowhere with old ideas I had. Just a severe lack of motivation, things have been hell at work and when I get home all I want to do is relax and WATCH videos instead of making them.
Did just finish my first banner. Another piece of junk that I thought was a good concept but my execution stinks. We'll see how that goes over.
