Last night the wife was supposed to be at the gym until late and daughter Tierney was bugging me to let her see some of the new downloads I'd gotten lately. Downside is that I've been in a heavy trend of ecchi stuff....He is my master, Moeyo Ken, etc. We settled in for an episode of Okusama wa Mahou Shoujo, pretty heavy stuff but must have picked right. I heard a noise downstairs and walked out of the room just as the wife was coming up the stairs.Wife needed to talk something over with me and she followed my downstairs giving Tierney a chance to shut off the computer. I later told the wife what we had been watching and she wasn't that disturbed by it...she had watched an episode with me over the weekend and luckily it was pretty mild. (Either episode 2 or 3.) She'd had a major cow last year when she caught us watching Ikki Tousen.
I did find a pretty good scene for my latest AMV project to replace the still shots I hated. I tried to rip a clip from the Chobits DVD but for some reason I can't get that part...it is apparently out of sequence somewhere as copy protection. I'm also having problems with disk space...every time a rip a section from a dvd and then convert it to Huffy (My preferrred compression for editing), I keep getting warning of running out of disk space. I've been trying to clean out as much as possible but I'm afraid of not being able to complete this one without buying a new hard drive. I'm actually trying to hold out awhile longer and then just buy a new computer. I've got a p4 2.4g that has top of the line 2 years ago, but is starting to show its age. (Although processor speeds haven't progressed as far ahead as I'd like.) Wife is waiting to collect money from me next month so she can run to South Carolina with her cousins...one is graduating from Marine boot camp on Parris island

*%$$#%& hillbillies got into a gunfight across the street from us yesterday. I was running trains at the fair (Last day of the Ohio State Fair was yesterday.) and the wife called all freaked out. What the hell does she expect me to do about it? I told her to keep her head down and stay away from the windows.
