I can't believe its been nearly 2 years since I've had a Big Mac. Lunch yum!
Very busy day at work today. I've had a couple of people with questionable work habits who have been getting by on the skin of their teeth. Enough people complained about one that my boss sent word that she should be replaced as soon as possible.
She got a slight reprieve though, contestant #2 made a MAJOR screw-up last night in addition to having been proved a liar in another incident that occured Monday and we had to cut him loose IMMEDIATLY. Luckily, OT has been fairly rare until the last couple of weeks and people are still game for some. This weeks opening have been taken care of now and we've already got a candidate for one opening in the interview process. (Unfortunatly, she wants the first girl's job and not the 2nd guys that we have open NOW.)

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times...

Back from Daytona. Going south was ok, nothing special except food and gas cost 2x-3x what was budgeted. Going to disney got canceled. Wife and daughter both ended up with REALLY bad sunburns...and blamed me for forgetting the nuclear thermoblock SPF 65 I usually use. (They tried to get by with some SPF 30 stuff they picked up on the way down. It didn't work.) A hotel in Jacksonville ran out of the rollaway bed I'd prepaid for so made me a deal for a second room at only a $10 upcharge...then screwed up our Visa cards and charged 2 1/2 times the amount all over again. It finally got straightened up this morning. (I also was unhappy to find out the 'free internet' was only if you bring your own computer. I'm used to there being a 'buisness center' with this chain)
It wasn't all bad. Got my conch fritters. (Deep fried sea slugs...Yum!) Picked up thousands of shells and other critters. I caught a fish. Wife caught a (very pissed off) crab. The fish was tiny. The crab would have been good eating but policy is to throw everything back after posing for a picture. Daughter got the stuffing scared out of her by a 4-6" palmetto bug in the hotel pool. (Like every fish story, it gets bigger with every retelling.)
Coming back, tried to run home non-stop to save one last nights hotel fees. Ran into major road constuction and what should have been a 16 hour trip turned into 19 hours of hell in the car. Got in about 3am this morning.

Hurry up and wait

We're about 4 hours away from hitting the road to Florida. The morning has been weird. (Or is the 'wierd'? That stupid 'I' before 'E' rule is driving me nuts. I need a vacation. XD) Time speeds up and slows down at random. When I'm busy enough, things are going by quickly, when I'm caught up it starts to drag.
Daughter is doing everything she can to get out of helping mom with the housework. A seven minute trip to the library to take back all of the books was at 30+ minutes and still counting...
(Daughter will have kittens later when she finds out that there may be a day at Disney for just the two of us. Mom wants a day to sleep late and then hit the beach and gave her blessing for us to hit the road, likely Tuesday.)

So if I understand it, you're going to edit the songs first then give them back to us to fill in...
Interesting...
