++| A M V - Journal View: Flawney

Story behind 1st Vid 2006-05-11 08:49:31 I'm sort of new to this whole AMVs thing--though I've been tryig to make this Chrono Cross one for YEARS. No literally, YEARS. I got the idea back in high school when this song was all over the radio (back when I actually listened to the radio....) and I had been playing the game for the third time. I taped all the cinematics on VHS as I was playing it, and wnet about the tape to tape method of editing it. I got about 50 seconds in or so and realized that my source tape had a glitch. So that ended that until I got to college and discovered the joys of video editing in Premiere (and the not so joyous Final Cut Pro ~_~). I ripped all the cinematic from the CD (hey--I'd already played it through 3 times, it can't be considered cheating anymore. Besides, I wanted better quality).

A year or more after my frist attempt at digital editing, I came back to this and tweeked it a bit. So I suppose this is technically the third reamstering of this video. I consider it finsihed. ^_^

There's a legitimate reason why it took so long to get it uploaded (if any of you tried to see it before it was there, I appologize ~_~). My campus network (go resnet ~_~) acted as a firewall preventing me from connecting. It took me a long time to figure out that it wasn't my router and that it wasn't....anything else (I tried quite a few things). Next time I upload a vid, it'll be speedy. ^_^
