  • telling it like it is... to the EXTREME 2003-06-12 15:47:12 I've noticed that "telling it like it is" is just a loose traslation for the english words "being an asshole."

    Hopefully, my new project will be online tonight before I head up North for PortConMaine. It looks like the video contest is a competition between myself, MJ and Kai, as not many other people entered. I don't stand a chance... Maybe I can get lucky in the haiku competition instead.

    Parade of meat tonite. I haven't eaten all day in anticipation. 
  • I can't be that Hybrid Rainbow 2003-06-11 09:07:35 I saw Lost in Lamacha last night. What a great movie. It's so sad that you already know the movie is doomed to fail. Terry Gilliam's laugh is so infectous however. It was a real shame to see the sets and Julie Weiss' costumes go to waste.

    I am stunned at how good Brigadoon is. I wasn't expecting much, but it is far and away the best new series released to America I've seen this year.

    Back to ripping DVD footage.
     
  • My eighties 2003-06-10 17:28:09 I made a mix cdr of stuff I listened to when I was in high school. It's quite a joy listening to Green Magnet School, The Soft Boys and Televsion for the first time in a while.

    It was interesting watching her face
    as it was pressed up against my winshield.

    Heh, I wish I could think of a video for that, but the songs legnth (7 mins) and lack of more than a couple dozen words for lyrics makes it hard...

    I will never use the term otaku to describe myself. It is an insult, pure and simple. And I'm getting pretty sick and tired of people using gay or homo as an insult in the forums.

    My friend's mom came in from Hong Kong, so we all went to dim sum. I love dim sum, but it's quite an adventure since I can't eat fish. Whn we went to Hong Kong, our friend wouldn't take us to any dim sum places there because he claims that the dim sum in Boston is just as good as the dim sum in HK. Not that I'll ever know... He did manage to take us to McDonalds for lunch there, tho, which I wan't happy about, but we were in a rush, I guess.

    Onegai Teacher came in today. I'm going to watch it right now. 
  • new video 2003-06-06 11:00:15 I put my latest work, Goodbye, on local today. I have very mixed feelings about it. It seems very obvious and it wasn't easy to work on. But there it is.

    I have to finish up my Magnetic Fields/Niea_7 video next.
