JOURNAL: Squancho (Richard Bradford)

  • First entry... 2008-04-27 07:29:47 Okay, I guess I'll use this place to update my AMV stuffs since not even the AMV community on LiveJournal can be arsed to comment on projects.

    *sigh*

Well, I just released the "beta" for Me Wuvs You. It's a short one and I am beginning to enjoy these. I also enjoy working with concepts seldom or never visited. I'm going to make some adjustments to the lip-synch before sending this to any contests.

Right now, I am working on a rebuild of ADD Theater because the concept deserves improvement and to be lavished with more variety in terms of anime used. It's been over two years since the initial completion and I don't use WMM2 anymore (BIG difference-maker). Look for ADD Theater v.1.5 soon.

My last video, Go Ask Haruhi, scored my first of two ballot selections (the other was ); both at TekkoshoCon VI. Of course I didn't win with either, but I didn't really expect to. Competition at that convention is becoming tougher every year, especially with submissions coming in from around the world. In my opinion, TekkoshoCon is going to one day become the host for THE premiere AMV contest given the quality of the finalists.

Anyway,...I think that's all I have for now. My next convention is Anime Mid Atlantic. I'm debating whether or not to add AMV Salad to my profile as an active selection, even though it's a slightly expanded version of AMV Hell 3.14. It's available for download in my forum signature and for view at MegaVideo (a MEGAUPLOAD service). Perhaps I will after the release of AMV Salad 2: the Second Serving...
