  • Kikaider, Review 2003-07-02 13:32:13 I was watching Adult Swim on Cartoon Network last night and after Futurama and Family Guy there was a show called Kikaider. Seeing I was up at my cottage and hadn't seen good anime for a while I decided to watch it.
    The story is basically about a kid named Akira who was turned into a robot by his dad. Inside Akira is a weapon of mass destruction. His father wants the weapon but some human girl (didn't get her name) took Akira and ran. She meets Jiro, aka Kikaider, and his brother Ichiro. Both are robots too except Jiro has a concious chip in him which makes him more human. Akira's dad comes after Akira as a robot but Jiro and Ichiro protect Akira and beat him off.
    Yeah thats my review. All in all the show was okay. I didn't mind watching it but it wasn't the greatest action and showing them in their robot form kind of made it look like Power Rangers. Thats my review.
