I had to reverse to get the car back in front of my house and am very glad there weren't oncoming cars or many cars parallel parked. I must've looked like a drunk person at 7:30am!!

I certainly did, and am not the happiest to go back to the grind, but oh well.
Anyway, onto GOOD news. The new AMV is underway!!!! I've been planning it for MONTHS but it's officially in Premiere's timeline. The music track is cut just how I need it to be as well. The first 8 seconds has 7 layers of video already. Kinda shows what I'm in for (this will be my first try at being remotely technical), but when there's a will there's a way! It's really weird working with 16:9 footage too. 16:9 source with a 4:3 project gives you a lot more wiggle room. However, I think overall I love the look of 16:9.
Also, some FYI for you mac users, if you ever have issue importing avi files into Premiere, just use MPEG Streamclip to convert the file to an uncompressed mov (8 bit looks perfectly fine to me). That way Premiere and After Affects can handle it just fine. And I gotta say, after working with DVD footage, I don't think I can go back! It's just so crisp! Imagine how things will be when we evolve to HD footage!! -

I have like no sense of motivation today. We usually leave early, but 2 or 3 is the question. I hope for 2 so I can run by Macy's (hopefully grab a pair of pants for like $15 that was originally priced at $70). Gotta get in there before the Black Friday vultures right? Not sure if I want to participate in that or not, or just sleep, which I could REALLY use. But yeah, heading in there early gives me time to peek around a bit before meeting up with my buddies to see stupid crappy Twilight (you *know* I'm gonna go, regardless of how sucky).
In other news, my bff just got a cat and she is sooooooo cute!!!! ^_^ I love black cats. Their fur is like silk. Gorgeous animals. I think the stigma that they are bad luck is stupid. Anyway, if I don't sign back on, I wish you all a very Happy Thanksgiving (if you're American of course)!! I will likely be nerding it up capturing some footage for my next vid throughout this weekend.
