  • @Futaba-Chan 2005-11-04 10:55:56 Here is a free player that will take just about anything you throw at it:

    http://www.videolan.org/vlc/

It won't play your WMV files, but everything else is cool.

Another program you should have is ffdshow, and you can get that in the AMVApp

As for uploading, I personally use AceFTP, and can PM you instructions on that one. Just leave me a message, or you can Yahoo IM me at wardle_junk.
  • @Eva-Fan 2005-11-04 00:28:31 If you ever want some Premiere commiseration or shortcuts/tips, let me know. I have some great links that might help you in the learning process.... (I'm running 6.5, personally, and have done the 'learn it by screwing up method'.)

    Cheers!
  • @Eva-Fan 2005-11-03 23:33:44 Thanks for the op! ;) You made my day!
  • 2005-11-03 22:59:20 BWAHAHAHAHAHAAAA!

ONE MORE EDIT!!! ONE MORE PREVIEW!

It's compression time. beh-bee! Woot! Put in a full 12 hours (or more) on this today, and it's almost done! (Been working on it for about 2 weeks now.)

    yaaaaaahhhhhhh! *screams the mad editor*
  • @Arigatamina 2005-11-03 21:32:33 To view the rubberbands in Premiere, you have to a) have your upper layers in the Video2 track or higher (Video3, Video4, etc. - depending on the number of layers you want) and b) click on the small triangle to the left of the track name (again, Video2). This will expand your view of the track, and you can place points on the red rubberband where you want to begin and end your transparencies by clicking on the line. (This also applies to all audio tracks for adjusting volume and fades.) Click and drag the red squares up or down, depending on the opacity you want, and voila. You are the rubberband queen.

    Hope this helps!
