@Judge/Bethany/et al: If I could fly or 'dive' up there, I would, but March is anniversary time, my sister is coming, and we are in charge of a big ward social that month. o_o.... I wanna go, though. Never been to Minnesota before, but have some distant relatives there....
Oh, and Judge, I don't think Jaddzia nor I were grown in Texas. ;) I was born in California and raised everywhere else...

I went to mail Christmas packages. It's a rainy day here in Texas, and when it rains in Texas.... Well, we don't do anything small here. There's some minor flooding, etc.
I get to the parcel shop, and send my things. Get in the van, and it won't start.
I try again.
No start.
So, I call the hubby, and we decide it's the same stupid thing that has been going on with the van when it's really wet outside. (The whole van thing is a saga in itself.) He has a meeting he has to be to, and he also works about an hour away from the house. So I pull out the ol' phone list...
No neighbors are home, and the kids are gonna be home soon. So, I get out and walk.
It begins to pour and blow, and the umbrella pops twice. I come to a dirt driveway (btw, this is a 4-lane road with no sidewalk), begin to walk across it, and sink hip-deep in muddy water. I'm 5' 10'', so that's QUITE a hole!
I'm outta the hole with some wriggling, and slosh the remaining 3 miles in some flashback from a teen movie somewhere. I know some drivers out there got a good giggle out of it all. And I have to say, they all avoided the deeper water on the side I was walking. No big splashes! Yay!
I made chicken noodle soup (from scratch!) last night, so I am now roasty-toasty in my house, sipping soup, trying to entertain you.
Oh, I got new software today!
I also burned some calories with the extra exercise, so guess who gets dessert tonight!
It's all good. And I have a story for the kids when they get home.

Think I shall do something other than what I have ripped clips for. *deletes the 8 gigs* lol..
Because I got new software for Christmas, and I am gonna PLAY! whee! This should be a really fun one, Christmas music, but year-round goodness.
