The 308MB clip is 1:26 without sound, and 16:9 aspect ratio.
Everything was converted to Huffy.
So the rate you're getting is pretty standard for the codec you're using (if you're using Huffy).
Quality has it's price! lol. My last project (which is finished and I want to upload it, grrrr...) was 22 gig with clips and audio and masking elements. The output Huffy for the entire project was 1.6 gig, and the finished compressed file for upload (again... grrrr....) is about 51MB.
My harddrive breathes a sigh of relief each time I finish a project and save the clips to another place, but it's worth it in the end.
