Shino - I took a year of French. I can still ask where the bathroom is, find out who cut the cheese, and explain that I only speak a little French. (Afterwhich, I usually ask where the bathroom is.)
Then, in HS, I took Russian, and that ROCKED! I also took it in college, my hubby majored in it (that's how we met, by speaking Russian to eachother), and then I lived in Finland for a year and learned Finnish, thus forgetting a lot of my Russian.
So my advice to you....
Take Spanish or German. Spanish would be helpful for jobs later on if you do well, and German is a good base language for the Germanic languages (like Russian). Plus, if you know Spanish, French is just an attiude and an accent away.
Now - I go back to the MEP.
