Oddly enough, Ebi_Ebi thinks that if I'm overly happy it means I'm hiding something about myself.. the only thing I could think of which would even mildly be considered hiding something is my ever-present struggle with my sexuality. But my sexuality has nothing to do with the way I treat her, so I think I might have just forgotten to take my pills on Friday. It's the only thing I can think of.

While I was walking home, I saw a little girl was outside on the balcony beside her house. Her grandpa, I'm assuming considering the receding forehead line and the grey hair, was walking towards her. She started jumping up and down excitedly and when he was within reach she jumped onto him in a hug-type fashion. He caught her and hoisted her up into his arms and brought her over to the side of their yard which overlooked the street. He set her down and she looked down at me and grinned. I couldn't hear what they were saying, but he suddenly swept her up off of her feet into his arms... He started back towards the house, his back was to me so I couldn't see the little girl, but I could see her little legs kicking at the air in joy. When he'd reached the balcony again, he leaned over and kissed her forehead then set her down again.
It was the sweetest thing I've seen in a long time. -

Today, as you all know, is a very special day. Yes, that's right; it is Friday. Now, some people have brought it to my attention that Friday has been becoming less and less of a recognized event and more and more of an afterthought. I say to thee, people of the world, Friday is a day of wonders!
Relaxing, writing, drawing! ((not to mention, for those of you who drink, that bars are very lonely these days))
So go! Enjoy your Friday! I comes but once a week and we all know it is a cherished part of our lives.
