JOURNAL: starwind01 (Scott Vierck)

  • Where's that space saving heavy metal I spoke of? 2002-01-15 00:52:47 Geez, with every up I always get a down. I spoke of how awesome Saturday was in my last journal entry, then I get to Monday and ASS. First half of the day was all school, as usual, so no big complaints there. However, I get home, and my computer has all these weird errors. I eventually fix that by not doing anything but turning the machine off and then back on (thanks a lot Windows for being SHIT). Then the real kicker, my girlfriend's buddy catches me on AIM and explains to me how I won't hear from or see my girlfriend in a month. She got grounded for running up her phone bill. ><

Oh well, asi es la vida.
  • Heavy Metal Saves Space 2002-01-14 00:10:55 Well, yesterday was absolutely amazing. I actually earned some money the first half of the day by helping my step uncle move into his new office. After that I went to see my girlfriend and hang out with her the rest of the day. Since she is a fantastic person, it was total fun. She even gave me Black Heaven vol 1 on DVD! How sweet is that! :)

My video is still in the works. I need to get to it some this week, since my weekend was booked.

I started drawing again (thanks again EK for showing how bitchin art can be...Lord Rae too, since his stuff rocks). I am glad I did because, with practice, I can be pretty damn good at it.

  • You are my space invader. 2002-01-11 14:29:38 *sigh* I suck at scheduling classes. I always give myself these really long and dull breaks where nothing at all happens. I live off of campus, and my home is just far enough away for me to not want to waste the gas on going back and forth. Maybe if I actually plan ahead next time...

Anyways, they got us shoved into a really crappy room at UCI this quarter for anime club meetings. People had to move around so they could see (problem is some people decided to do it while we were in the middle of viewing stuff), which gets old very quick. We were spoiled last quarter with that big comfy Physical Science lecture hall. ><

My Outlaw Star video hit the 30 seconds complete mark last night. I like what I've done so far, so I hope it keeps going smoothly. I'll be sure to mention when I finish that up.

Quick Side Note: "Cautionary Warning" is a bitchin song. :P

EK: I love your Bebop wallpapers. Currently I have the kick ass Spike paper on my desktop with the orange background and the Bush lyrics. Your art convinced me that I should start drawing again. Thanks a ton. ;)

I suppose that is about it for this entry. I guess I should actually do some code. *gasp* A computer science major doing code. I am so lazy. xP

  • Hey, Allison, you're in my journal title! 2002-01-08 01:56:41 Hehehe, what a great journal title that was. *wink wink* :P Now, on to business. I have begun work on my next project, and it looks promising. I should be done with it in a month or so at most. I have it planned out pretty well, so all that is left is to capture more footage, edit, and package it up for viewers (wait I said that like it was easy to do xP).

Some other good news comes from another member of Huzzah! Inc. One of my good friends, also registered under the studio Huzzah! Inc., has obtained a capture card, so look for his videos to start surfacing in the near future.

That's all I got for this entry. So I better go chat with my girlfriend a little longer before she scampers off to bed. :)
  • A Journey of Adventure...Huh? 2002-01-06 14:08:21 That has to be the best title for an anime episode ever. xP It also serves as foreshadowing for me to announce that my next project will be an Outlaw Star video. I should start on it soon. It is in the planning stages right now, so be on the lookout for that.

I had a rough night trying to sleep last night. First one in a long time. My girlfriend and I had to tackle some "issues" that were trying to come between us. It took forever for me to get to sleep with all the stuff running through my head (even after the beer...maybe I should have had a lot more than I did...), and then when I did get to sleep, I would wake up every hour or or two to go through the same tossing and turning process. Hopefully, we handle all this nonsense soon. With Winter Quarter at UCI starting up again, I will need the rest.
