  • Hmm... 2002-08-15 22:48:07 I've gotten E-mail from several people who have been getting 403 Forbidden errors on my server. The link works, my server is just overloaded.

    Since I put the server up last night, I've had over 6,000 hits...of which, nearly 5,700 were from the same person.

    If you have managed to get through, and have downloaded my video, and have mirror space, and think they're worthwhile enough to mirror, please mirror it and send me a link to it so I can add the link to the video pages.

    Now that the token banality is out of the way, I guess I should introduce myself. My name is Michael Russell, also known as RomSteady. Some of you may know me from my columns on http://www.ugr.net. I also do anime music videos as a means of relaxing.

    Recently, I was talked into making my videos available to the public. Since the only bandwidth I have is into my home box, I've put them on the Gnutella Network, and have had about 1700 downloads.

    It actually surprises me how few people are actually sharing them, though. Every day, I search the network, and I usually find only one person actually hosting my files. Either people think my videos suck, or they aren't sharing.

    If you do download my videos, you'll notice that I don't put my studio name in the filename. I do that because the amount I actually create is miniscule. All I'm doing is editing. The animators create the video, and a wonderful vocalist creates the song. I'm merely joining them. If you download one of my videos, don't put my name in the filename. Leave credit where credit is due.
