Eh, I originally wasn't going to get one, but then the fansite I work on got a myspace page and stuff, and all the other people working on it at the time had one, so I went ahead and got one. Now, its useful for getting in touch with all my old HS and Army friends. Along with keeping in touch with the other people who work on the site when we're not on IM.

So yeah, last night, I checked my MySpace messages, and I had gotten one from a person who just basically said "Hey! Haven't talked to you in a while. How are you?" Didn't give a name. His name wasn't on his profile, nor was there any information that would reveal who he is or a pic of anything more than his eyes. (I hate profiles like that. And messages like that from people with profiles like that.) So I messaged him asking who he was. So today, he messages me back with a hint telling me to guess. Well, his hint did narrow the guessing down a bit. . .. to a few people I remember well and a bunch of people I really don't remember. Rather frustrating. But then I looked at the profile again along with the pic of his eyes. I think it might be my one friend, Cody, from the Army. We were good friends and were kinda dating for a short time. I have been looking all over for him since I got out. He had given me his phone number and email, but I lost it and had been looking for him ever since. I still have to hear back from the guy to see if I'm right, but I hope I am. I missed him. He was cool. Plah. But anyway. I really should get back to editing. :P

I don't think she would copy someone else's banner on purpose. As far as actual banner ethics go, it varies between creators and voters. Obviously all out copy and pasting the exact banner is wrong on all accounts. But to some, if you made the banner yourself, even if it uses the same pic and text/concept as someone else's, it's ok. . as long as you made it yourself and gave it your personal touch. To some, using the same pic or text is wrong, even if it looks completely different. Then there's the people like me who thinks if you use the same pic or the same text it's ok as long as they don't use the same pic and text together and it looks completely different. It just depends on the person. And like Yeiweh said, don't worry about the flamers. They're going to be negative no matter what, so its better to ignore them. And you're ok in my books too. ^_~ So yeah, just don't worry about it.

I don't agree with the general meanness and flaming of Susakechan (and yes, I do like you), but I don't think the person with the Showtime banner necessarily copied. It's text that has the potential to easily be thought of on one's own and could become common. I know when I do banners, I just go through my pics and come up with text for them by the first thing that pops into my head. It may have been used by someone else, it may not have. I try to avoid ones that I KNOW have been used by someone else, particularly rather recently. But if I miss one and do a banner with text someone else used, as long as the banner itself looks completely different, I don't see a problem. Which is the same with that one. If it looked the same, I could see the problem, but it looks completely and totally different. And while I still don't like it, I don't see reason to cause a big to-do over it.
Ayanefan/Yeiweh-Yeah, I think Yeiweh's is really cool too. He does great work. lol. I'd laugh if most of the org ended up with a profile pic by him. It was funny, I kinda ended up with one psuedo on accident. I wasn't going to get one, but then I was on skype with him and Katie while he was doing you guy's pics, then he's like, "Hey Camillia, you want one too while I have it open?" So yeah. Now I have one too. lol. Great stuff. -
