Yeah, that was just the song that popped into my head concerning the whole journal crisis. But anyhow. I didn't think any of the banners in my last batch were going to make it. I had 4, (Suisei-Seki, beofore you say anything, I had 3 pending approval. They got approved and were pending vote, so I uploaded another one. Because I no longer had 3 pending approval. The banner approver person came on and approved the last banner before the other ones were done voting. That's how I ended up with 4 up for vote. Yes, that is legal. Sorry for the moment of "chatting") and 2 made it. So that's pretty cool. I just did 2 that I wish I didn't upload. One that I looked at it after uploading, and realized it had to be the most retarded banner on the planet. And that's saying something coming from me. The other one, I realized I didn't place the text exactly how I wanted, so yeah, now it looks weird. But oh well. As I've said many times, I'm so not joining another serious MEP. I'm so not psyched. Well, the vid whose beta is done, I'm kinda psyched about. . . .because its jsut REALLY weird. But I need to upload it and hand it in so I can at least make sure the concept is ok before I get to the fun part. . .the effects. WEHOO!!! The other one. . .is more fast paced and requires more clips. . .and is being done a bit more serious. So yeah. I'm getting it done little by little and it will be done by the deadline, but I'm so not psyched. At least once I get the beta approved, I don't have much else to do with it. Since it won't have a lot of effects. Plah! Rafe was talking about possibly entering one of our collab vids into a con once they're done. That might be neat. He's also talking about the possibility of maybe starting to do banners now that he's been messing around with Photoshop. Never really thought of him as a graphicsy type person, and he said he'd probably be asking for help with the technical stuff, but hey, that's cool. It's always neat when couple's get into the same stuff. So, Rafe signs the lease on his new apt this Friday. Then I'm going down next week to help him move. This is so exciting!!!! *^_^* Yeah, last night, my mom and I had a girl's night. Dinner and clothes shopping. It was great, I actually found a dress that looked good on me despite dept store mirrors, lighting and after-dinner bloating. Plus it was on sale! WEHOO!! Needless to say, I picked it up. So yeah. And I'm REALLY pissed at my cat right now. So, one time, he peed on my bed, so I stopped letting the cats in my room. Then I would let them in while I was in there. Then I was able to leave my door open again and everything would be ok. So yeah. I was sitting here a while ago checking my email. The other 2 cats were sleeping on my bed. Everything was cool. So then my cat comes in, walks around the room a bit. Nothing unusual. Well, I had a bag with some clean laundry that I hadn't put away yet, and it was still open from when I was looking for clothes yesterday. Well, next thing I know, I see him sitting kinda funny in the open bag. The fucking cat was peeing on my clean laundry. Luckily I caught him pretty quickly and shooed him off. And he only got a couple shirts. But it still really pisses me off. Plah. But anyway. I hope the HK DVDs I ordered come soon. I want my HK damnit!!!! lol. It should be interesting once I start doing HK vids again. I'll actually have a decent amount of footage. I'll hopefully be able to make them interesting. lol. Well, that and warped of course. But this is me. Of course its going to be warped. *^_^* Yeah. Well, I need to start clearing my VOBs off again. Starting to reach critical mass (again), plus, I need to rip Chobits so I can do my segment of Yeiweh's Loli MEP. I decided I'm going to go ahead and go with "I Must Increase My Bust" by Lords of Acid. Yeah, Rafe and I were talking about Godix's MEP and he was saying he wished my Mandy Moore/AC segment had made it in its original form (as opposed to the way it was for the credits) So I think I'm going to extend it from the 20 something seconds it was before into like a minute or something (so its a decent enough length that it could stand by itself) and upload that as a vid. I would do the whole song, but it would be almost impossible and a lot more work than I want to put into an idea like that. Besides, a full 4 minutes of Kadaj singing "I Wanna Be With You" would be a bit much for anyone the bear. So yeah, about a minute would be good. I was thinking the chorus and the bridge would be funny. Plah! I want to join the mecha MEP, but I don't know if I should be joining anymore MEP's. I have the perfect idea, but yeah. I'm going to finish the MEPs I'm part of now, then we'll see. Wow! I've been rambling on for a while. Eh. Plah! Its what I do best. Brainless rambling. Well, I think that's about it. Maybe I should try to go to bed. lol.

Yeah, there was only one banner up for a bit, then the rest finally came up, but even though there are only 10 you can vote on, it says after you've voted on the 10 that there's another new one, but there isn't. Weirdness. And Suisei-Seki, you can only have 3 waiting for approval at a time, so if you happen to be on when they're approving, you can keep uploading the ones you have saved on your comp and have a lot of banners up for vote at a time. I've had 6 up in one day. It all depends when you're on and how often the banner approver is on. And more stolen banners!!

My terrible fangirl vid with FMP to "Let's Get it On" was the one that ended up in the vid. OMG! Godix took the wrongness of my last clip in that and made in even more wrong. He said he was going to censor it with the org logo, but the way he did it, it made it looke like there was more going on then there really was. I nearly fell over when I saw that. lol. The audio on it got a little messed up. Probably with the compression. If it was any other MEP, I would complain, but it was this one, so it just made the segment even more awful than it already was. Then he sped up the cut segments and used them for the credits, so I got to see my other 2 again minus the audio. Which the AC one isn't as funny w/o the audio (Kadaj is singing "I Wanna Be With You" by Mandy Moore") But hey, its the credits. lol. Anyhow, I would say great stuff, but yeah. It wasn't. But it was the point. lol. So anyhow, got to talk to my old Army friend, Cody again after about 3 1/2 years. That was cool. He's doing ok. Working, problems with g/f, the usual. lol. But it was great talking to him again after all this time. Hopefully the Hello Kitty DVDs I ordered will come this week. I won't be here next week to get them because I'll be in MD helping Rafe move. I hate when people don't communicate. So, my step-dad was supposed to leave the keys to the other car so I can run errands and get stuff done. Well, he left them in his and my mom's room, thinking that my mom would give them to me. But I couldn't find them anywhere because their room was the only place I didn't look. I tried to call my mom at work, but she didn't answer her phone. Oh well. I'll just have to do everything tomorrow. Anyhow.
- Sorry, it's been less than 12 hrs. 2006-09-10 16:10:37 So yeah, trying to decide what to do with my FMP vid that I started last night (this morning?) It looks cool and I want to continue with it, but I have all my MEP segments I need to be working on, i don't really have time. I don't know what to do. I hate having a short attention span. Though, unfortunately, the opening of the new one uses the same scene as my other FMP one. (Sousuke piloting the AS in the very beginning of the series.) It just works really well as an intro. Ergh! But It looks different, and doesn't have the gunshots from the helicopter. Just Sousuke and the AS. Plah. But I REALLY need to finish Revenga. But Tainted Love is just jumping up and down in the back of my head. I hate situations like this. :( Oh well. I guess ,maybe Tainted Love could be my prize for finishing Revenga. lol. Well, I thought the journal drama was going to get better, but apparently, its getting worse. Everyone accusing everyone of everything, no one being able to make up their mind. Saying they don't want us to post as often, not at all, only post about certain things, post whatever we want, post when we have something to psot, but don't take up space in the new journal list. I mean, if we all post during the night when no one's on, of course its all going to be us. Because no one else is on. We might all be posting hours apart, but no one else is on, so we're just going to stay on the list, because no one else is posting. I woke up and 1245pm, and my name was STILL on the list. And I posted around 5am. And I only posted one post. People can't blame us for taking up all the space on the new journal list if no one else is posting. We can't bump people if there is no one to bump. This morning's entry with the journal police was more of a drunken joke. Didn't mean for people to take offense, but apparently some of the JJ's are getting really serious about the whole "US VS THEM" thing. Granted, it started when people who didn't care one way or another wanted regs so everyone could be treated equal. Then other people took it upon themselves to complain and air their annoyances. . .in the form of incecessant bitching. Which is what started this. It wasn't the original forum thread asking for regs, it was the people flaming it. Now everyone is flaming everyone for everything. Before, I was willing to fight for my side of this, but now, I don't know. And with people not being able to make up their minds what they want from us. Nobody on either side being able to take a joke. This isn't what it used to be. *sigh* Eh, whatever. I was considering stopping banners too, with all the negativity, flaming, and a bit of snobbery around it. But then I would be giving up something I enjoy and giving into the haters. The journals may have lost their fun, but I'm not going to let them destroy graphics and banners for me too. AMVs are AMVs. I'm invisible as far as they go anyway. If I continue to post my crap here, it won't make much difference. Ok, this is starting to sound severely emo. Because if a JJ posts in their journal, even if its not quite as frequently as people may think, it's abuse. . .because people have a pet peeve against us. lol. Sorry. I'm just getting done being a little drunk and couldn't resist. Sorry if I offended people. (Well, some people. Others, I could care less.) Anyway, so Rafe made it here ok. And I'm glad. And he was really severely fried. He passed out in the gazebo, then when he woke up, he really wouldn't respond to anyone. But finally, we got some alchohol into him and he was fine. Which is good. So yeah. I hate having a short attention span. So, I was kinda drunk. (I still kinda am.) And I was kinda bored, so I opened up photoshop (since my creativity usually tends to flow more with some alchohol in my system), and I did a banner. Then I put on some music. And then the Marilyn Manson remake of Tainted Love came on. Then FMP popped into my head. So I started an FMP amv to it. Unfortunately, its 5am. If I had started it sooner, I would probably be mostly done. But I started in around 330 or 4am. So now, I'm kinda tired. I just hope when I wake up, I'll still have the motivation to work on it. Its probably going to be along the same lines as my AC vid. Something brainless that still looks cool and gets a vid out there. (But its not CG, so it will be a bit easier to get it to look better.) Lets see how this ends up. (and I will remember to compress my audio this time. lol.) So yeah. And I have this huge nasty bruise on my leg, and I have no clue where it came from. plah. Anyway, I will stop boring people and I'm going to go get some sleep. Yeah.
