- A little drunk 2006-10-30 23:20:15 Ok, so yeeiweh, Moonie, I'm so sorry. Today, I was waiting for the delivery of Rafe's bed from Ikea. Then I put the stupid thing together. Then I was exausted. Then Rafe came home. Then we got food and alchohol. Now I'm pretty drunk. Moonie, there's still a chance I might be able to get your project done in this state, but Yweiweh, yours will have to wait for tomorrow. I don't have the coordination right now. Well, Rafe is making me watch Tenchi Muyo GXP. Not really impressed, but hey, I'm making him watch Inuyasha, so its all fair. And we watched Green Green. That was funny. And yahoo isn't letting me sign in to check my email. Keeps timing out on me. GRRRRRR!!!! Rafe got his new flat screen monitor. . .. and left me to fix the color and stuff on it. lol. Since I'm the only one that cares and is anal about shit like that. lol. I want to edit so bad. Grrr!! Plah. Well, tomorrow's Halloween. And what's Camillia doing? Jack shit! Grrr!!!! Anyway. I hope my cats are ok. I also hope my mom navigated my room ok. Well got a couple new worthy banners. A chibi yazoo one for me and a pekkle one for Wurgano. Did them in breaks of Moonie's project. Might do more once I get Moonie's and Yeiweh's projects done. Should have brought more movies. Rafe's apt's furnished now. magicness. I'm drunk and can't think of anymore to write. so I'm going to stop. And Yeiwh, I really did like the Power Rangers segment. And Rafe said you got the win from him on best segments. Well, if such a thing had been truly instated, I would think that Phade or one of the other mod/administrator type people would have announced it in the forum. Since they always make a thread in the announcement thread when something new happens at the org or there is a change in rules. (Seeing as there is nothing actually in the rules about jounal chatting, it's just an unwritten rule that its generally frowned upon. They generally only allocate people to police things that are actually written in black and white in Da' Rules.) Besides, they've generally tried to make things as fair as possible, so I would think a warning would have been put out if there was journal police since I believe the point is to get people to stop, not gratuitously take people's journals away. Plua, the real thing would probably have a bit more detail in their profile, like an explaination so people actually know what's going on. But hey, my opinion only counts for one vote. Anyway, so Rafe fixed his comp. YAY!!! Turned out he hadn't updated his sound drive in the last forever, so that's what caused all the problems. So he fixed that. . .and I got to watch WTF. Neato burritoness!!! A bit tedious in parts, but overall cool and funny. (The QC involving the word "Glomptastic" is mine, BTW. I realized I forgot to put my name on it after I sent it. But most things with the word "Glomptastic" are from me anyway. lol) So yeah. Well, Rafe had the flu shot Thursday, so now he's feeling kinda blah. I talked to my mom, and my cats that were sick before are ok now, but now her cat, Haagen, is sick. I guess Abi sneezed in his face too many times. lol. My mom said Haagen and Abi were asleep together, then Abi layed on Haagen's head. Normally, HAagen would hiss and bat at Abi for that, but my mom said this time, he didn't do anything but ooze out from under him. Poor kitkit. :( Well, Halloween is basically fucked for me. my favorite Holiday, and I'm not doing anything. Plah. It's during the week, I'm stuck in MD with Rafe, which normally isn't a bad thing, except he's not really into Halloween. And I didn't even bring any Halloween-esque clothes with me. We're probably not going to go out, and even if we did, I don't have anything to wear. Not going to be dealing with Trick-or-treaters, and I said since he was screwing up Halloween for me, that I would make him watch a bunch of Horror films (he's not really into them.) HE said he would only watch one. I explained in a subtle way that basically, my favorite holiday is getting fucked, so its the least he can do. He said he doesn't like horror films, he's not into Halloween, so he'll humor me and watch one, but nothing beyond that. *sigh* Eh, whatever. I wish my mom luck. She asked if she could raid my wardrobe for HAlloween, and I said she could. . . . .if she could get through my room. So I wish her luck. My aunt called and asked if I would babysit for her on Monday. Unfortunately, I can't b/c I'll be here. I could really use the money too. Suddenly, agreeing to stay is looking worse and worse. But eh, I'm helping him out. He's helped me out on many occasions, so whatever. Well, the apt is more or less furnished now. Got the computer desk today. But his monitors a bit too big for it to fit safely on it, so gee. . . .he has to go get a flat screen. lol. We're going to do that tomorrow. AMV progress. . .lets see, I'm in MD away from my comp. Not much going on in that dept. More or less, the minute I get home, I have to export/reencode/fix my buttsecks segments. I should have Moonie's project done soon since the comp was fixed. I still need to put all my stuff back on. Plah. Well, hopefully I covered everything. I would hate to post again and have the "journal police" get mad at me. Plah. ANyway, I'm done for now. - Severely upset 2006-10-28 04:08:55 Ok, so Rafe's comp is acting up. It's having problems starting Windows properly. So, under safe mode with networking, we got the WTF vid downloaded. Went to watch it, and first, VLC didn't start. Then when we finally got it to play, there was no sound. So, we finally ended up turning off the comp to deal with it tomorrow. So, after he went to bed, I got back on the comp. I actually got it to start up properly, so I tried again to get it to play (thinking it might have been the safe mode settings that did it) Started right this time, but still no sound. So I also tried opening it under Windows Media Player and Creative Media Player. Both times, I got error messages basically saying it has no means to play the audio. AAAAAARGH!!!! And now, I won't be going home til Thursday, so if he can't fix his comp tomorrow, there's a really good chance I won't be able to watch it til Thursday. Yeah, kinda annoyed. So yeah, the reason I'm not going home til Thursday. Today, Rafe had off, so we went to Ikea to buy the rest of the furniture he needed. (Bed/mattress (currently using an air mattress), nightstand, another lamp, barstools, and an office chair. He needs a clock too, but we forgot) So, we went and picked everything up but the bed frame and got it in his Blazer. Then we went back after assembling the furniture he got this trip and got the bedframe. Well, all the pieces except the head/footboard fit in his truck, so he had to have them delivered, but of course this is at 7 at night on a Friday, so it would be Monday before they could deliver it. But he has to work and might not be able to get off to be here when they come, so he asked if I would stay so I can be here when they come. So I said I would. Which would have me here the rest of the week because he can't take me back til the weekend because of work. But he has off next Friday too, so we'd be going back Thursday. Of course, after I said I would stay, I remembered the Buttsecks deadline was Tuesday. But I talked to Minion and straightened it out, so everything is fine. Luckily all I have to do is re encode one segment and do some minor fixing to animation on the 2nd. Plah. I hope he's able to fix his comp tomorrow. I really want to see what happened with WTF!! And Yeiweh, don't feel bad about asking us to do stuff. We're your friends. We're always happy to help. (BTW, has anyone seen Kikai lately?) I still have to finish the project for Moonie (I'm almost done, but I had to take everything off his comp and stick it on my flash drive for the time being, so I might not be able to work on it for a couple days. I hope to have it to you by Monday at the latest. *fingers crossed*), but after that, if Kikai hasn't picked it up, I'll see what I can do. (I'm not much with comp drawing either, but I am fairly decent at altering exsisting images. I could probably take a pic of Pharaoh and stick the Phantom mask on it. *^_^*) Plah. I should probably think about going to bed.

*SQUEE!* I get the karaoke MEP. *^_^* Thankies Yeiweh! Yeah, I was going to start that one when I get myself unearthed from all my current MEPS. I was thinking right after NEw Years, but if I can get myself stabalized, I might start it the end of November or in December some time. But consider the beginning of January to be the "official" starting time for it. *^_^* - AAARGH! 2006-10-25 12:18:35 So yeah, the place where Rafe put his comp is really sunny. . . .and I can barely read the monitor. It looks all dark. So yeah. This is kinda hurting my eyes. Not to mention that I'm really pretty tired. I went to bed around 430 am, but didn't fall asleep until about 5 or 530. There's a spider problem in Rafe's apt and originally the exterminator was supposed to come yesterday, but Rafe rescheduled. But he told me to deadbolt the door anyway just to make sure. So yeah, deadbolted the door yesterday, everything was peachy. So today, don't deadbolt the door after Rafe leaves. Next thing I know, it's 9am and I'm hearing voices (And not the ones in my head. :S ) So I open the beadroom door, and the apt maintenence guy is standing inside the front door. So he asks about the spider problem and where they're probably coming from. I told him what Rafe told me. The broken seal on the front door. So he takes a look. The tile in front of the front door was coming up, so he said if they were to replace the seal on the door they would also have to replace the floor. But he would talk to his supervisor and get back to us. Ok. So he left and I went back to bed. I just started to drift back to sleep when there's a knock at the door. It's the maintenence guy with his supervisor. JOY! So yeah, they checked it out and the supervisor checked a couple other spots that are proned to bug entry in other apts. So those are going to get taped, the seal on the door is going to be replaced and so is the floor. So yeah, I've given up on sleep at this point, though I'm dead tired. I might cook the quesadilla chicken, take a shower and go back to bed. Hopefully I won't be interrupted again. @.@ FWAH! Well, almost done with Moonie's project. Can't work on it again til later because of the sun problem, along with probably not being able to focus from being so tired. I will get it to you Moonie. lol. Hopefully the WTF vid will be up soon. The SOAD MEP deadline was moved. Have an extra month now. Doesn't matter. I have mine mostly done. The most extension I needed was a week so I could clean it and put it in the proper codec. Need to do the same for my Buttsecks vids. Plah. Well, my eyes hurt, so I'm going to stop.
