- Not much going on 2007-01-08 13:55:17 Well, I'm back in NJ. And I just realized I forgot to send my Villain Beta. Working on that. Still working on Darkness and Grief. My footage went screwy on me, so after much angst, I may have to encode it into DivX afterall, which I didn't want to do since it usually ends up looking shitty. But the lossless codecs seem to want to take up most of my HD with just one disc of the anime, XVid doesn't work with Premiere, Indeo makes my computer lag and Premiere lag even more, and I can't seem to get VDub to encode into anything else. I might see if Gordian Knot will do x264 for me. But right now, I don't have the time, so I'm just going to go with DivX and try to at least get something out. FWEE!! Well, with my Christmas money, I got a few Disney movies, Disney Scene It and Harry Potter Scene It. No one wants to play Harry Potter Scene It with me any more. But the Disney one is actually pretty fair, since we're all pretty familiar with Disney. My cat, Abi is a little brat. Well, its kinda funny, he's the smallest cat, but he eats the most. This cat is constantly eating. If the other cats go eat, he has to go eat too. If we're all eating, he tries to jump up on the table to make sure he's not missing any good food. And I think he has a thing for squirrel brains or something, we find decapitated squirrels everywhere, but never any heads. Anyhow, so whenever the food bowls are even thinking about being empty, he's always the first to complain, even if they're not completely empty or if he just ate. Like he's afraid he's going to starve to death. My mom said when I was gone, he would always be yowling by the food bowl. Occasionally, he would jump on her or walk under her feet yowling for food. Even if he just ate. He comes and wakes me up if he's hungry whether its time for him to be fed or not. Origianlly, there was only one food bowl, but I had to put 2 out because he'd push the other cats out of the food. Well, I think it was Saturday, I woke up a little late, and my mom said that this time, in his persuit to be fed, he pushed a glass off the table and broke it. That cat is such a brat. Though one of the funnier parts of his brattiness is there is this one padded red foot stool that he seems to have claimed. He always is laying on it like its his throne or something. Whenever one of the other cats try to lay on it, he jumps up too, even if he's hanging off one of the corners. Sometimes, he tries to push them off. Sometimes, he tries to annoy them into leaving, like by laying on their face. And of course he's the cutest one. I think he knows it too, which might have something to do with why he acts like that. Silly cat. Anyhow. Well, might be going back to MD next week to help Rafe with his Mecha Mania vid. He claims he has no eye for effects and needs my help. But that's cool. Kinda funny that I'm helping him since he's the one that got me into this, but he also hasn't made a vid in the last forever, has only made 3, and hasn't really messed around much with effects. I also need to show him around photoshop effects. Anyhow, [chattiness]8bit, I'm not ignoring you, I've just been busy. Kikai, new wurgano banner. And I'll be working on the stuff once I get Darkness and Grief done. Those who have given me QCs, I'm not sure who I missed on vacation and such, but I want to thank you all for watching my vid and leaving QCs. I hope you all enjoyed the vid. And yes, I know I have some quality issues. I hope to have those solved in future vids. . .I hope. *sigh* And Katie, I forgot to thank you for the DVD. It was waiting for me when I got back from vacation. Great job! Thank you!!! *hugs* Speaking of mailing, I need addresses from a certain couple of people. (You know who you are.) I would like to get this mailed at some point. It can be a PO box, friend or relative that can give it to you. It doesn't matter. Just somewhere to send it.[/chattiness] I also need to get the Saikano stuff sorted out so I can do my Otakon vid. Which I really need to start soon if I'm going to use the song I want to use. (Which would make it a crazy vid.) Plah. Though I have a couple of back up ideas if I end up going batty trying to do that one. I had an idea to do a vid with creepy instrumentals done by some of my favorite bands. Well, after I heard the song "Counting Bodies Like Sheep to the Rythm of the War Drum." I thought it might be cool to basically do the vid in the form of a nightmare with that as the opening. Now I just need to find a song that says wake up in that same creepy way. plah. well I think thats about it.
- I'm BACK!!!!! O.o 2007-01-03 23:44:41 Yeah! I'm back! I was actually officially back from Disney World on the 29th, but then Rafe & I went right to NJ for New Years and I left my comp here. (And my bro was usually on the house comp, so I was more or less without one until now.) So yeah, I had a lot of fun in FL. We got there Friday, ate, checked into the resort (which was awesome!) slept for a few hours, then got up and hung out at Pleasure Island for a while. (the grown-up part of dowtown Disney with all the clubs and bars and stuff) We went to a couple clubs, then went home and went back to bed. Saturday, we wandered around downtown Disney and did some shopping. Then at night, my mom had gotten us tickets to the Cirque du Soleil show, La Nouba, so we went there, then went back to Pleasure ISland and went to a couple more clubs. Sunday, we did Animal Kingdom, then tried to do Magic Kingdom, but it started pouring, so we went on Haunted Mansion then went back to the resort. Monday, it poured, so we went to try to do Epcot, but everyone else had the same idea, so there were huge lines for everything, so we went back to the resort until later, then went back for a couple hours. Tuesday, we attempted to do Magic Kingdom, but it was really crowded and Space Mountain and Pirates of the Carribean were down, so we went back to Epcot and did most of the stuff in the front part there. Wednesday, we finished up Magic Kingdom, including Space Mountian and Pirates. then we had dinner reservations at the Garden Grill at Epcot, so we went there and finished the day there. Thursday, we went to MGM, taking a break at Epcot for lunch at the Biergarten in Germany and walked around World Showcase. Then we went back to MGM. Friday we came back, went to sleep, then went to NJ on Saturday. Hung out, spent New Years Eve drinking and playing board games. Now I'm back. To all you I owe vids to, Villain will be uploaded when Rafe gets done DLing whatever he's DLing. Darkness & Grief will be done by the end of the week. Sorry for the delay. It just came at a bad time and I thought I'd have more editing time. Anyway, I should have my vacation pics up at some point. And yes, this should be the year of Wurgano. *^_^* Anyway, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everyone!!
- 8 more days! *^_^* 2006-12-14 01:58:22 Til FL! WEHOO!! Starting to get myself together. Went out to dinner with my mom tonite. Went to a small pub called Clancy's that has kinda become our official place. Then we went to Best Buy to look for something. (I have no clue what she was looking for.) I also found Rafe's b-day present while we were there. Hopefully I'll be able to catch the after christmas sales for it. Still have to wrap his christmas present. So after Best Buy we went to Target and I got some odds and ends that I needed for my trip (like sunblock, camera, etc) Well, tomorrow I'm going to do laundry and Friday I'm going to pack. Saturday, my mom's taking us out to dinner. Sunday, we're going to MD. The following Friday, we leave for FL. *SQUEE!* Abi is trying to lick his neck fur, and it looks really funny. (He's a coone type cat, so he has really big fur on his face and neck.) Anyhow. So I'm almost done my Villian vid. Hopefully I'll be turning that along with the wav and the misc clips in. The next thing I have to do is clear my HD, rip Saikano and start Darkness and Grief, since that's due next. Well, Rafe did well on his promotion board. So that's good. I'm a little upset at him right now. He might be dropping Mecha Mania. He hasn't even started yet, and the beta's due tomorrow. I keep reminding him, but he keeps ignoring me. And he says he's going to keep ignoring me. Which kinda makes me mad. He says its due to writers block. I told him its just a beta and to just put some flashy clips in so it looks pretty and he at least has something to turn in. He said he would still try to over analyze. And then went into a ramble that basically sounded like he was writing doctoral thesis' on the relationships between the anime, the music, and the beat. I just kinda slapped my forhead at that point and reminded him that it was just a beta for a MEP. Which means a basic gist for an abbreviated idea. But he didn't seem to get it. He just went on mentally complicating an idea that wasn't supposed to be complicated to begin with. (Some MEP segments require thought, some sort of plot, etc. But Mecha Mania is basically just pimping a piece of mecha. Yeah, its supposed to look good, so you want to pick the right scenes and have it look cool with the music. And things can get somplicated with effects involved. But he's not an effectsy editor. And he doesn't even need to have all that done, or even completely planned out for his beta. Ok, I should stop this rant. Yeah, I'm annoyed. He's always yelling at me to get my segments done and expects me to listen, but he ignores me when I yell at him. And waits til the last minute to even think about starting. GGGGGRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!! But hey, there's nothing I can do. If he drops, he drops. So be it. It would have been cool to have been in an MEP with him, but whatever.) But anyway. Yeah, so my mom gave me her old picture phone. So, as a present to myself, I just got myself a couple ringtones. OMG! So I was on my cell phone company's website looking for ringtones, and I looked up Gunther for shits and giggles, and they actually had 'Teeny Weeny String Bikini' (The song I used for my segment in Minion's b-day vid) So I downloaded that one along with 'Inside of You' (Hoobastank) and 'Cigaro' (SOAD). Anyway. I think that's about it. I might want to get some sleep at some point.

Synopsis: Thank you DokiDoki for the new features. Had a great weekend once I heard from Rafe. Got annoyed at a banner because my original idea I couldn't get into 20kb or less with more than 5 colors. So I had to oversimplify, and now its not as funny. I'm annoyed at my cat because he was bothering me all night. When I tried to fix the problem by finding his normal downstairs sleeping buddy outside, I came back to my room to find out he had knocked over a bunch of stuff including a tray full of beads. I now have about 5 days to try and get everything ready to go to FL, because I'm going to MD w/ Rafe this weekend so he doesn't have to come back. This includes packing, procuring items I may need, and finishing MEP segments that are either due while I'm away or very shortly after. I might bring my comp to MD so I can use the extra few days I'm there to try and finish. I'm starting to get over my cold.
Now hopefully this will post. :S -

Thanx Kikai! *hugs* And now DJ's sick too. :( Get better soon! Anyhow, I'm at least feeling better emotionally. So, I figured if I hadn't heard from Rafe by 5pm that it would probably be too late for him to come up. So around 5, I texted him, then he called. He had just woken up. So then we just talked for a while and he was debating whether or not he should come up. I really wanted to see him, but at the same time I felt kinda bad with him coming up so late and then we get to see each other for a few minutes before he goes to bed, then for a little bit tomorrow before he leaves. So, finally he said, "Fuck it, I'm coming up! Take some extra meds, I'm taking you out." I was floored. Not only was he coming up, but he was also taking me out. (He said if he was going to come all the way up here, he might as well make it worth it.) So he had me get movie times and stuff too. So we ended up going to TGIFridays, then we went to go see "Van Wilder:Rise of Taj" It was pretty funny. It had some great moments. Then we came home and he gave me a back massage. So, thanx to the double dose of decongestant, my nose wasn't really a problem, but I was still coughing a lot. So my cold is still there, but I at least feel better emotionally. Though better is an bit of an understatement. Strong inner *SQUEE!* might be closer to the truth. *^_^* So yeah, still sick but much happier. Now I'm tired and I think I'll go to bed now.
