So, in other news, the prints that were taken to the framers came back 2 weeks early. So Rafe has his Snow White and Tinker Bell ones, and I have my Stitch hanging above my bed. Its so adorable. *^_^*

So, I turned in my Darkness & Grief and my Villain betas. Villain was approved. Still waiting for Darkness & Grief. Need to finish Valentines and Start Rainbow Cotton.

I also actually started a solo vid, and I'm actually 1/3 of the way done laying clips. It's a Saikano vid. I think I finally figured out how to keep the whole series on my comp for editing (I'm a trial and error editor. And I go in with an idea, not a concrete plan. So I like having everything around to play with.) and have the end result be good quality. Keep the series laying around in DivX so I have something that doesn't take up my whole HD laying around that I can play with. Then once I have what I want, go into Vdub and encode the clips into huffy, then replace the DivX ones. So my next vid might actually be good quality. WEHOO!! So yeah, hopefully this vid will be better than all the other vids that I have up now. If it turns out really good, I might submit it somewhere. I don't know yet.

So I've been hanging out with my friend, Chris, lately. That's cool. I hadn't talked to him in a while. Of course, I usually feel like I can't talk to him or hang out with him when he's together with his gf. But they just broke up (again), so I guess that's why he's been wanting to hang out so much. Try to keep his mind off of her. Eh, whatever.

Going to MD this week. I'm going to be helping Rafe with his Mecha vid. I need to do the overlays for my mecha vid. But that's really all I need to do on it. I just need to fix a couple sync issues on Villain, and I'm done with that. Then D&G, I need to do the whole replace with Huffy clips and fix a couple sync issues. Still Debating on when to start Karaoke.

I think that's about it. - 6900 hits O.o 2007-01-11 16:25:59 YAY!!! Done my Darkness & Grief beta!! Well, I finally just made it with the DivX footage. . .and it looks terrible. But I sent that and let him know that I was aware of the problem and to just look at the editing and the video minus the vid quality, and if that's all ok, then I'll just go into vdub, encode those specific clips with huffy, then replace the ones I have in there so the vid quality is better. And I'm currently uploading villain. . .finally. Hopefully its not too late. Now all I need to do is finish my Valentines beta, do my Rainbow Cotton vid, then do my final versions and I'm finally done with all my MEPs. Well, I was thinking of starting Karaoke somewhere between the 15th-20th of this month, but I don't know if I want to start with Yeiweh on hiatus, since we came up with the idea together and I know she wanted to be part of it. I don't know. We'll see. With the way things are now, I probably won't be out from under my current workload til February anyway. And next week, I'll be in MD helping Rafe with his Mecha vid. I need to finish my mecha vid too. But that is one of the finals I spoke of. I need to check on all the final deadlines again. FWAH! Well, need to go take a shower before I go to dinner with my mom.

(and other fangirlish exclamations) 2007-01-11 00:17:51 So yeah, back in late elementary school through middle school, I listenend to the radio a lot and would record mix tapes off the radio a lot. Well, I would generally hit record whenever I thought it was a song I liked and didn't have yet. So, I hit record thinking it was a different song that I was looking for (I don't remember what it was.) But it turned out to be a different song. But I kept recording because I liked the way it sounded. I fucking fell in love with that song. It just sounded beautiful. Well, I never caught the song's name or who it was by, I never heard it on the radio again, and I eventually lost the mix tape. So this song has been rattling around in my head for about the past 10-15 years, and I was never able to find it. Well, I was taking a break from my vid, so I thought I'd try googling it again. I tried different wording and stuff, and I actually found it! It was "I'll Be There" by Escape Club. And I just downloaded it and have been reunited with the song that's been haunting me since middle school. WEHOO!! And I think once the rest of FMP TSR comes to the US and I get it, I'm going to do an FMP AMV with it. I was thinking about maybe Saikano, but I think, just as a personal preference and because I wanted it to have a more happy conotation (I think I'd get depressed using Saikano, even if it was meant to be a happy vid) I'll use FMP. That and I just like that anime better. *^_^* And while serious, pure, pretty romance vids aren't really my thing, I just have to use this song in an AMV.
- Wow! 33 banners just got approved! 2007-01-09 02:50:44 People have been busy. Well, that was freaky. I just got done watching The Others, had just closed down the screen and opened the org back up when all of a sudden, my bedroom door flies open. Scared the living shit out of me. Then my cat jumped up on my lap. It was the same one who scared me when I was watching the Exorcism of Emily Rose. Not a particularly scary movie, but he started banging on my door at just the right time. I nearly shit myself. I swear, he does it on purpose. Probably because I'm more likely to cuddle after having the wits scared out of me. lol. Hope to have my D&G beta tomorrow. Shit! Still forgot to upload Villain. Well, I'll upload them both tomorrow. Apparently Haagen got into a nasty fight. He had a big gummy spot on his head, and now that the other cats are grooming it away, its turning into a big bald spot. But he does like to fight (as opposed to Abi who likes to hunt and Pepe who likes to play.) Plah. Was supposed to hang out with my friend, Chris, but he never got back to me. Oh well. FWEE!!! Kinda odd to be talking to Rafe on IM after being with him for 3 weeks. My mom's car is freaking out. The passenger door is broken and the transmission might be leaking. We think either she got hit, or the metal is old and throwing stuff off. who knows. Got the FMA movie today. Was going to wait for Rafe to watch it. I think I'll go to bed now.
