    Did you read them? Analyze them? What would you say this song is about? You might say drugs, you may think really hard into it and get a political message. Or you might say innocent fun with a childhood toy. Or even that its a random song with absolutely no meaning. But the most readily apparant answer. And orgy or something sexual. Which, out of all the interpretations would probably be the easiest and most fun to protray in an AMV. But apparently, hentai would not work with it. O.o

    Gotta add Greggus1 to my page too. Him and Kevmaster are probably going to be the ones keeping me sane in SOAD2 at this point. I hope OFL ends up being let in too.

    Might do a mix with all the songs by SOAD that I think could work with hentai and dedicate that to Krisqo, because all the talk about Bounce and my idea makes me want to do that one too. (But I really only want one track in the project. At least to start with. I don't know if I could deal with 2 or 3 right now) And I've always wanted to do a vid with Violent Pornography. And Shimmy could work with Hentai too. And I'd have to look through again to see if there's any others. But it should be fun at any rate. *^_^*

    Well, got another idea for "trimmings" for my D&G vid. I was going to have it in black and white, but have the parts of the scenes or the frames with the "tragedies" in color. Then at the end when all hell breaks loose, have everything in color. Well, I also thought since its an apocolyptical vid, have bible text from "revelations" running through it. Even better, in Latin. So I just found and bookmarked a site that has the bible in latin with the English translation, so I can pick out the parts I want. Hopefully this turns out looking really cool. . .and creepy. @.@

    I should go to bed since I didn't sleep much last night and I have to get up early because they have the King Tut exhibit at the Franklin Institute, and because my parents are premiere members, we get to go to the lecture by the curator and go see the exhibit the day before it opens to the general public. Which also involves getting up early. :S

    On another note, the lagarith clips are working great. . .and take up less room on my HD! :D WHEEE!!! So now I can replace all the nasty looking DivX clips that I just keep on my comp to build the vid with without taking up my entire HD with the new pretty lagarith clips. And then I can start doing effects. I think I know what I want to do with it. And it will be cool. :D

    Krisqo, I told you I would do a hentai track for you in in SOAD2 in your memory. She said in the thread she wouldn't allow any other hentai tracks other than Cigaro due to there being no other suitable songs. I found a suitable song (Bounce), but she still turned it down saying that hers was going to be the only hentai track in the MEP. I tried. Sorry. But I am going to do a full length vid with Cigaro using my original idea (La Blue Girl. Focusing on Seikima) and dedicate it to you. *^_^*

    MY RAFE RAFE IS HERE!!!!! :D I may or may not be going to MD next week. My mom, Rafe and I were all talking. Rafe was saying he needed to finish Mecha Mania. I was like "Do I have to come down there and get out the whip?" Some giggling and odd looks ensued, and he was like "Well, I'd never pass up the chance to have you down there." But my brother's football dinner is that week. So I may or may not go down. Haven't decided yet. But I can't go down for the next 2 weeks because the rest of my family will be in CA the 13th-19th (Tues-Mon) so I won't be able to go down the 2 weeks after because I have to stay and take care of the animals. I don't know. We'll see.

    Got Rafe's VD present. A bit more expensive than I was looking for and my mom ended up helping me and I'll pay her back. But he should like it. Can't decide if I want to give it to him this week or wait til either next weekend or the weekend after (since we won't be together on Valentine's day. :( ) I'll figure something out.

    It scares my mom that I can relate to the girl in Pan's Labyrinth in that I can recognize he particular case of schizophrenia because I have a similar case. But my main/guardian voice is much prettier!!! *^_^*

  • AAAARGH!!! Full Moon! 2007-02-02 01:06:10 So, this has been one of those days that make people feel deficient. Like god just was in the mood for one of those movies where the guy gets kicked in the crotch ten times for comedic effect. So yeah. The lesser of all the evils happened first. Like as a warm up. Well, it wasn't really bad, it was just one of those things that made me fell less of myself. Well, Stolen Soul took over SOAD 2 and has put quality control on. Which is fine. And she put out a list of people from the 1st one that she's allowing on the 2nd one. There was Scott Green and Kevmaster, then me, but gave me the note that I better do quality work and not to be dissapointed if I don't meet her standards. Which I know what she was saying, but it almost sounded like she was expecting me to fail. Which kinda gave me that feeling of "Am I that bad? Am I even capable of "meeting her standards"? Is this one of those "Cinderella, you can go to the ball IF you finish all your chores (but we'll make sure you won't)" type things where I fail unless I turn out a Euphoria grade vid. . .for the beta?" Like I said, its not that bad. I don't think she was meaning for it to be as mean as it sounded. She's giving me a chance. It's just the first thing that made a dip in my normally cheery disposition. Well, I had done an online application for Hollywood Video. It has one of those "Assessment Test" things. And I was supposed to call after 48 hours. Well, when I first called, the lady said she didn't have it in front of her, but she would call me back. Well, she called back and said she can't even interview me because apparently I didn't score well enough on the assessment test. WTF?! Ok, so I'm not outgoing enough. There were a lot of questions like that. So I did the Shop Rite online app. Also had an assessment test. Not sure how I did there. Went over and filled out the Walmart app. Another assessment test, but this one gives you the result at the end. I fucking failed that one too. GREAT!!!! So now I can't even get an interview at Walmart, a video rental place, and possibly a grocery store because of a stupid quiz. All the stupid, lazy, obnoxious HS kids will get hired, probably because they lied on it. And will probably be gone 2 weeks later. But people like me who are honest and hardworking and never miss work unless its a real emergency, but are a little soft spoken won't even be given a chance. Well, I guess I have to start lying on those if I want to get an interview. :P And I got my period on top of all that. Not my day!

    Got a bunch done on "Gimme Gimme Gimme" Got most of the end done. I should probably get the huffy clips for my D&G so I can start working on the effects. I should also do the overlays for Mecha Mania. I need to make extra sure to make all my clips really awesome so that I can show Stolen Soul that I have improved a lot since SOAD1. Wow, Yeiweh. It's seems I've taken your place in this respect. lol. *hugs*

    My mom got me Peanut Butter Kandy Kakes. (You East Coast people would know what they are) She's evil. But I so needed them after today. Hopefully I didn't eat too many calories. I was doing so good on my diet. I've been on it for about a week and a half and had lost 6 pounds, but I gained a pound back after last night's debauchery. So I'm trying to make up for it today. I also need to make sure I fit into my BDU pants by July for Otakon. And make sure I look ok running around in a black tank top too. O.o (I'm going as SGM Mao)

    Well good news and bad news on song choices in SOAD 2. Good news: Cigaro is in the mix. Bad news: Stolen Soul's already claimed it. :( Don't worry Krisqo! I will find a way to keep your memory alive!!!!! And I might just make a solo vid with that idea and go talk to ngsilver.

    As far as I could see, no one on the Org has used "Gimme Gimme Gimme" by A Perfect Circle. Odd. But it is a rather obscure song. But people have used "Annihilation", which is an even harder song to use. Oh well. All the more reason to finish my AMV using "Gimme Gimme Gimme" (And if you use the anime/genre listing of the solo vids I'm working on from yesterday, you can probably figure out what anime I'm using. :D) Which I need to get the huffy clips for my D&G vid so I can work on that. I have ideas for effects. I hope it turns out ok.

    Saw "Pan's Labyrinth" with my mom. Yeah, it definately deserves its R rating for its realistic violence. A guy gets his face smashed in with a bottle. Another guy gets gangreen and has to get his leg amputated (This is all in the 40's). Another guy has a knife stuck in his mouth and gets his face split open from his cheek to the corner of his mouth so that the opening to the corner of his mouth is up by his cheek bone. Then he proceeds to stitch it up himself because he shot the doctor for helping the "enemy". And two fairies get their heads bitten off. And all this happened rather graphically and realistically. And it was nasty. But the rest of the movie was great. Basically, it all happens in facist Spain. There's a little girl who's father died and her mother got remarried to a captain in the Spanish Army who is currently stationed in an old mill in the country to capture/kill an army of guerillas in the neighboring woods. And he sends for the mother, who is pregnant with his child, and the little girl to come live with him so he can be there when the child is born. There's an old stone maze back behind the mill where this girl would sometimes go where she met a faun who told her that she was the reincarnation of a princess who had died long ago, but she needed to complete 3 tasks to regain her place as princess. Meanwhile, her step-dad is a complete jerk who only cares for the son her mother is bearing, and is a raving lunatic to boot. And everyone is dying. Her mother dies in childbirth. The captain kills the kind doctor for "helping the enemy". Some random people get killed. Soldiers on both sides die. The kind servant who also helps the guerilla fighters (because her brother is the leader) almost dies, but she escaped and got in a few good blows to the captain on the way out. (The knife in the mouth thing). The captain dies at the end, but so does the little girl. But it shows her taking her place as the princess. So at the end, its just the nice housekeeper with her brother, a handful of guerillas, and the baby brother who survive. Yes, it is a foreign film. My mom and I were talking about how you didn't quite know if she was imagining everything or if it was really happening. We came to the conclusion that she was imagining everything. My mom, because it made her feel better to think that she imagined a better place for herself as she died, not that she had to die to take her place as princess. Being schizophrenic and being able to relate all too well to what was going through her head, her mind may have made it seem real, but it was all, in the end, just in her mind. Though it might have freaked my mom out a bit as I explained it all to her. And then the convo about "the guardian voice." and what mine looked like as compared to hers. (Mine is much prettier. :D) Anyhow.
