And I did clear almost 50gb. Anyhow, so I've had this idea in my head for an AC vid to the song "Fever Dream" from the 300 soundtrack. And It appears I can't edit anything until I do it. Which means using that space I just cleared to put the footage back on my comp. *sigh* But on a happier note, if it turns out awesome, maybe that can be my Otakon sumbission. (Since I've hit a wall that may or may not be induced by this current mental block on the vid I was going to submit.) FWEE!!

So yeah, not too much going on. I was in MD last week. With my Rafe Rafe!! *^_^* Helped him battle virtual dub. Watched Love Hina. Was supposed to go to a hockey game with his coworkers on Friday, but that fell through, so we saw 300 instead. That was fucking awesome!!! I loved it!! Came back Saturday. Not much happening. So, I'm in NJ this week and going back next week to help him put the effects on his mecha vid. Then the week after I'm supposed to be starting pilates class. That should be exciting. :P And apparently, at some point, Rafe's dad is supposed to be flying us to Dallas to visit. That should be cool.

I feel like poopy. I finally figured out why, when I go to visit Rafe, I end up feeling like shit somewhere around the 2nd or 3rd day. His apt is super dry. It apparently tries to overdry my sinuses, which then makes them work overtime to "undry" them. Making my nose all stuffy. Plus the dry drying my throat out and making it all sore. At first, I thought maybe I was allergic to something here, but then I looked at my feet (which always get dry when I'm here.) And realized that's probably it. Fmeh.

Kevmaster is right. There are way too many MEPs starting up. Though I think I might still start Karaoke up here pretty soon, but put the deadlines kinda far out so people have time and can still join. I don't know.

Well, I finished and turned in Villain and D&G. Since we were given an extension with Mecha, I'm going to tweak a couple things. Though I think I might try to finish it while I'm here, so I can upload it w/ Rafe's connection. (I uploaded D&G, which was a 780mb file, and it only took 3 hours. *^_^*) I also finished my Shimmy beta for SOAD2. And except for one thing in the beginning, Stolen Soul liked it. *^_^* YAY! Now to rip La Blue Girl so I can turn in a Cigaro beta.

Well, as far as joining MEPs, I told myself I wouldn't join anymore, but I joined the Clow MEP. Though at least now, I'm only joining MEPs that involve ideas that I've had for a while. SOAD2 I had been looking forward to since OFL said there might be one. Holy Grail is just cool. There's no way I could resist that one. *^_^* Then Yaoi involves a vid I had already started and Clow involves an idea I've had for a while. So yeah. Those and Karaoke. No more! :P Need to get AC back on my comp for both Karaoke and Holy Grail.

Well, just finished watching Love Hina with Rafe (the 1st season at least.) That was funny. Though all the characters eerily reminded me a LOT of characters from other animes. I think next month, I'm going to pick up the Azumanga Daioh box set. (I've been wanting to watch that one and apparently Rafe's never seen it either. *gasp* an anime Rafe hasn't seen! 0.o)

Which I think is what we're experiencing here. I've been here about 2 years, though I wasn't very active the 1st year. But I was still here. And I admit, I've seen some pretty idiotic people. But they usually come one at a time (though sometimes under many screen names. @_@) Now, it seems like they're coming one right after the other. Sometimes all at the same time. Are we going to have to sit through 10 of these morons at once before we can live in pseudo peace again. . . or the org closes down, and then is reborn from the ashes? Sheesh. I thought this was supposed to be fun! Ok, lets see here, who do we have?
1. Chelsealina-gratuitous senseless posting, sometimes insulting, publicly requesting a ban (that was deserved, but went about in the wrong way.)
2. Black Pearl-Insulted and cursed out everyone who tried to help them. Couldn't read a post but could fully read and understand the forum rules to the point where they could use them to their advantage, even though they too were guilty. Publicly requested a ban that was in the works anyway, though maybe not deserved at that particular moment
3. Captain Warheart-Thought Kikai was a mod. Also threw a fit because his DBZ character thread was closed and claimed mods were abusing their power. Apparently the Captain of Confusion and misunderstanding.
4. Proud Asian-Asian elitist. Made threads which seem to be purely for proclaiming Asians as the master race. which were backed up by purely nonsensical arguments and inaccurate "facts". Seemed to offend even the Asians of the forum. Whenever someone made a sound argument against them, they would answer back with "Give me a good argument" or something to that effect. Once their racist threads were locked, they claimed the mods were jealous.
5. davidj15-Tried to promote his YouTube vids here. When told this was the AMV.org announcement forum and that he should upload his vids here, he threw a big hissy fit and said that everyone was rude. Even though he was the one telling everyone else off.
6. Wheee_It's_Me!-Net elitist. Seems to think they're God's gift to the internet and digital art. Will flame anyone who tries to tell him otherwise. Also apparently has taken to threatening people who say anything negative to/about him that he could shut down the org or make it a miserable place with his "connections."
Ok, have I missed any? (I mean from this batch. Like from the past month or two.) If I haven't missed any, we have 4 more to go, O.o Then hopefully we can live in pseudo peace and harmony again. . .or all hell breaks loose. Who knows?!

Well, uploading Villain and finishing Mecha right now. I'm taking the extra time to do a couple touch ups on D&G. Then I need to finish my SOAD2 beta and work on Rainbow Cotton. I'm just going to stick to the MEPs I'm in now. (SOAD2, Yaoi, Holy Grail, plus finishing Rainbow Cotton, and Karaoke when I start it.) I don't want to end up like before when I was in the middle of this whole mess. Being in about 5-10 all at once. Kinda sucked. So yeah. I should have yaoi done early, since I basically already have most of it done. (Using the Sin vid I had been working on.) I need to clean off my comp. . and get more blank DVDs to put stuff onto.
