So now, together with the Kingdom Hearts Cloud figure I already had, we now have a kinda Kingdom Hearts shrine going on. lol. And it's awesome! XD
So then, we went to this great Mexican restaurant in the mall. And it was tasty. And there was good food, good dessert, and good margarita. Yay! Tequila! :D
So yeah, I haven't updated my journal in forever, but I've had tequila, so I don't feel like it. Though TOHH, apparently your pic is coming out really cool. Immorrel says so. :P Yeah. YAY!!!! :D -

So, this has been a wasted night. So, I get an email saying something like my paypal account has been suspended due to too many failed password attempts or something and that I need to reactivate it or something. So, getting freaked and not looking into the matter further, I immediately start running all my virus protection/anti-spyware stuff in preparation to reactivate the account and change all my passwords. I usually update before I do so. So, I update Symantec and start running that. Go to update Spyware Blaster. Says there's a new version and I need to dl it. So I do. Do all the updating I need to with that. Next thing I know, there's a virus showing up on the Symantec virus scan that's going on. Ok. So then I close out Firefox, checking all boxes to erase any and all related data, then start the update/scan on Spybot Search and Destroy. That winds up having malware show up. Having to do with the virus that was showing up on Symantec. SywareGuard 2008. I open Firefox back up and google it. Turns out to be a rogue "spyware detection" program, with a similar name to a program by the same people who did Spyware Blaster. Wait, wat? So was that a false prompt to update Spyware Blaster? And what would cause something like that to happen? I'm so confused. So yeah, spent about 2 hours waiting for everything to run. Got rid of the threats, but apparently, I had to restart my comp to get rid of them completely. So, did that, re-ran Symantec and Spybot, just to make sure. (Well, I ran them both, but stopped Symantec when Spybot finished. Spybot was clean, and Symantec was passed the point where there were problems before.)
Ok, so I'm clean now. Go into my email, change the password, then go to the email from paypal, click the link it tells me to click to "restore my account". The internet powers that be inform me it's a fraudulent link. All this trouble over a phishing email. -_- So, I run Spybot again, just to make sure nothing bad happened when I clicked the link, even though I was blocked from going where ever it was trying to take me. Still clean. Go to paypal, change my password for good measure, then find out if they want phishing emails forwarded to them. They did. So I forwarded it to them. Then proceeded to change ALL of my passwords, just to be on the safe side. *sigh* So, I now have a list of passwords sitting on my desk. And my night has been wasted. -_-

On a happier note, I got my tablet! :D I've been messing around with it and getting used to it. I redid the line art on a request. SOOOOO much easier that with a mouse. I was trying to do it with a mouse before. It went MUCH faster with the tablet. So, I got the line art done on the main character itself, and I started cleaning up the main coloring that I had done before I got the tablet. Then I need to do the shading. Then onto the last details, and I'm done. Hope to have it finished by the end of the week. YAY! I feel kinda bad. It's taken me so long to do this. :(

I meant that I could see what I was doing better on the outline of his character's coat if I temporarily disabled the layer with the color for his pants (since the coat outline and the pants are both dark colors.), but that was came out of my mouth. Rafe looked at me funny. >.>

*sigh* So I finally did it. I bought myself a tablet, after I've been bitching about it for how long? I was poking around Newegg, and they had an 8x6 Genius tablet on sale for about $43, with free shipping. Most of the reviews on it were pretty good. Most of the complaints were about the mouse, but srsly, who buys a tablet for the mouse? Anyway, if anything, it's something for me to play with/learn on until I can get a really good one. So YAY! No more coloring with a mouse! Which should=slightly less fail. :P

Well, spent the weekend in Dallas visiting Rafe and his family. Which really was not all that relaxing at all. So, Rafe's dad bought me the plane ticket. Which was awesome. I was really happy and thankful. But he got it out of the Kansas City airport, not the local one, since it was cheaper. The Kansas City airport is about 2 hrs away. So, I'm running late, but I finally get there and get checked in. Luckily, my flight was delayed, so my lateness wasn't that bad. Have about a 1 and a half hour flight to Dallas. Then, I got there, rested for a bit at his dad's house, then drove another couple hours to Killeen, to go get Rafe. I did this all on about 2-3 hours of sleep. -_- Stayed there with Rafe for the night, but didn't get to sleep much because he snores unbelievably loud. Then had to get up early so he could drive to OK to get his license renewed. Got stuck in oodles of traffic, mostly due to accidents. Finally get there, he does his thing, then we get back to Dallas and more or less collapse. Get to rest some on Saturday. Visited his ex-step-mom some. Went to bed, got up, and then it was off to the airport for me. Then the 2 hr drive back home. . .in the rain. :P Today, I slept all day. Tomorrow, apparently the exterminator's supposed to be showing up. (Just the routine apt spraying thing.) *Sigh* Then Rafe's supposed to be coming back late Friday night.

People who were supposed to file paperwork for Rafe's latest Army training are retarded. So, he told me he was supposed to be leaving for 2-3 weeks of training and flying out March 29th. Then, he tells me that Wed or Thurs that paperwork is fucked up and he might not be leaving til later that week. Friday, he comes home from work and says Sunday, the 29th is a no-go, due to financial paperwork being fucked up. So, that night, we go to a get-together with his platoon. His Lt. shows up, and says Sunday is a go. Then he gets calls/texts all day Sat saying it's off, then it's on, then it's off, etc. So finally, @ about 9:45pm, he gets told to be @ the airport around 10am the next morning, and that they may or may not be leaving. The airport they're flying out of is 2 hrs away. So we get there, and I'm stuck waiting there for nearly 2 hrs while they try to get shit sorted out before he finally gives me to go that he's getting on an airplane. GRRRRRRR!!!! So frustrating!!!!! X( So, he gets weekends off. His dad lives a few hours away from where he is. And is nice enough to fly me down for next weekend. Only, he's flying me out of the same airport, since apparently, it's kinda expensive to fly me out of the airport near me. So I have to make that 2 hr drive. . .again. *eye twitch* *sigh* Oh well. I'm just glad I get to see my RafeRafe. -_-

So, I have a Samurai Champloo vid planned out. I was really pissed off. I had ripped and encoded all the disks. I usually don't test them before putting them into Premiere. So then I put the files into Premiere, and there's corrupted frames left and right. So I go into the handy dandy help forum and find a thread by Zarx saying to uninstall Lagarith and dl and reinstall the new lagarith. I do that. Only, when I go to uninstall the old one, it gives me an error. Finally uninstall and install the new lagarith. Still fucked up. So I play the original files. Turns out the files themselves were messed up. So I had vented in the donator's forum about it, then was pointed to a thread about probs with Geneon/Funimation disks. Thought I was fucked at that point. But then I tried re-encoding. Everything was fine. Turned out it was a problem with my old lagarith afterall. *sigh of relief* So yeah, now to get remotivated to do the vid. :P

Yay! Almost done with the art request that was giving me issues! *^_^* (At least with the drawing/lineart. Still have a little bit more to do. Then I have to color it. But that's the easy(er) part. :D) Then onto request #2. Which should go much easier than the 1st one. Half tempted to open up commissions. I had never really thought of it. I mean, I don't consider myself to be that good of an artist, nor very popular. So therefore, there would be no reason to consider it. But if I keep getting requests, I might. Idk.
On that note, my DA page is suddenly getting a lot of hits. It kinda scares me. Some of it may be because I submitted an application for an art book. (Kikai told me to. :P Still waiting to find out if I made it or not. Somehow, I think not. -_-) But still, it's weird. I feel sorry for those poor people. >.>
