    BEWARE OF PAPER IN THE BACK WINDOW OF YOUR VEHICLE

    NEW WAY TO DO CAR JACKING

    (NOT A JOKE)

    Heads up everyone! Please, keep this circulating...

    You walk across the parking lot, unlock your car and get inside.
    You start the engine and shift into Reverse.

    When you look into the rearview mirror to back out of your parking space, you notice a piece of paper stuck to the middle of the rear window. So, you shift into Park, unlock your doors, and jump out of your car to remove that paper (or whatever it is) that is obstructing your view.

    When you reach the back of your car, that is when the car jackers appear out of nowhere, jump into your car and take off.

    They practically mow you down as they speed off in your car. And guess what, ladies? I bet your purse is still in the car. So now the car jacker has your car, your home address, your money, and your keys. Your home and your whole identity are now compromised!

    BEWARE OF THIS NEW SCHEME THAT IS NOW BEING USED....

    If you see a piece of paper stuck to your back window, just drive away. Remove the paper later. And be thankful that you read this e-mail.

    I hope you will forward this to friends and family, especially to women.

    A purse contains all kinds of personal information and identification documents, and you certainly do NOT want this to fall into the wrong hands.

  • Blah 2007-10-24 19:40:07 One of the good things about keeping a diet log. If one day, you just totally crash, you know why. (Like, if you excercise a lot, but then look back and see that you've been eating less than 1,000 calories a day. . .and not much in the way of sugar or carbs. :P) But I went a got a pint of Haagen Dazs (Light, so I don't totally feel like I'm sabotaging myself. :P) and I'm starting to feel better. *^_^*

    Kev, you did kinda whine, but I kinda understand. It was a similar situation with mine and Haunter's match. I thought mine portrayed the sentiment of the song better and was more involved than his. But his was a comedy (and comedy always seems to pwn drama. :P), looked cleaner overall, and didn't use HK. (And didn't have a random blank 6 seconds after it due to cutting the vid down but forgetting to readjust the work area. :P) So I can see how his won. Which was why I didn't say anything beyond congratulating him. I still need to watch yours. And I haven't forgotten LaBlue Girl. :P

    List of annoyances/rants (If you are easily upset or take everything personally, please skip this section. I'm just ranting in general and any flames via pm, etc, will be ignored. Though I will be laughing at you. *^_^*):

    1. WHO FUCKING CARES ABOUT STOLEN SOUL, THEIR SUPPOSED GENDER, AND WHAT OTHER GUISES THEY MAY TAKE UP TO TRY AND AVOID YOU?!!!! YOU ARE ALL RETARDED!!! NOW DROP IT AND MOVE ON WITH YOUR LIVES!!!!!! *deep breath* Ok, I feel better now.


    2. N00bs really need to lurk moar. Like, so they can post in the correct sections, follow proper protocall, follow the rules in the general. And also so they will know ahead of time what the general personality of the group is, and learn about proper grammar/capitalization/spelling/punctuation. And generally not look retarded, wasting everyone's time and patience. Then flip out at everyone for being "mean" when they couldn't take 2 seconds to take a look around for what they were looking for. . .or type properly.

    3. In conjunction with that, if they read the guides and rules, they would also know we look down on using downloaded footage. Yes, it happens. But most people aren't uber obvious about it. Or at least will go looking for the right guide to chop the subtitles off. And not run around going "I'm not buying any DVDs!!" Then wonder why people get upset at them. Or ridicule them to no end.

    4. People who let their ego get in the way of their work suck and should be shot. Like ones who can't take constructive criticism. And will call their vid pwnsome and call themselves a "genius" when they actually suck, but they will flame anyone who tells them that. Or get upset that anything bad was said about their vid and take down the direct/indirect link to their vid. People, just get over yourself.

    5. Pet Peeve: People who put a-m-v.org on their banners. I know it's technically legal, but it annoys me. It just makes me feel like they're too lazy to type it out, or to find room for the entire url. Like I said, nothing big, just a small peeve.

    6. I should do a banner with every graphics program I can get my hands on and see if low pic quality is the program or the user's fault. (Again with the pet peeves. But those of you who know me know I can be kinda anal about that kind of stuff. lol.) But seriously, it really pains me. Particularly if it's a decent banner, but its being killed by low visual quality. Must do research. >.>
