Need to fix SOAD2 so I can turn in my final. Seems like its mostly smoothing that I need to do though. Should be done before the due date. *^_^*

Well, I purposely took a break from SOAD2 so I can look at it with fresh eyes so I can properly fix it. And on the break, I decided to start my Otakon vid. And I'm happy to say so far, it will indeed be epic. *^_^* Hopefully I'll have the skill/sanity/insanity for it to turn out the way I want it to. (more sanity/insanity than skill, since there will be mass amounts of photoshopping. Since I'm more or less using just one anime, but the people that are fighting each other never actually show up in the same episodes as the other. But yeah.) And I found the best ending clip for it. *^_^* WHEEE!!!! Currently ripping the last couple DVDs with the last of the footage I need for it. Then full speed ahead.

VCA-ness. Congrats to all who made semifinals. There's a few that I was sad didn't make it. But eh. I'm happy my Hello Kitty vid made semifinals, but I'm pretty sure it won't make finals. But I'm happy it made it this far. It's the 1st time I've ever had a vid make it past round 1. With a Hello Kitty vid no less. O.o (Though FallChild has a vid with a HK character in the semifinals too. Though he doesn't use the actual anime (unless its changed from the DFIC)) And if anything, its some extra publicity for the vid, which is nice. *^_^* I was amused to see Yeiweh's b-day vid made it for Best Collab. lol. Good stuff. *^_^*

My mom sent Rafe and I steak for some reason. (The card said for Valentin's Day/Mardi Gras/Super Bowl/Chinese New Year.) It arrived today. I was confused. So I called. She said she was going to get us a gift certificate to Cheesecake Factory, but that steak would be "more fun." Right. But it was still nice. *^_^* On another note, Rafe's b-day present arrived today. And the Sesshomaru action figure I had ordered along with it. (For me. :P) So now my desk area is turning into the bishie area. lol. (Tidus wallscroll next to the desk, FMA calendar in front of it, plus the Sesshomaru and Squall action figures on the desk and my Griffith computer wallpaper. I also have a hula Hello Kitty doll on the desk with Squall and Sesshomaru too, but :P)

Well, showering of packages this week with Rafe's b-day present, my mom's b-day present, various other stuff ordered, plus a package for Rafe from his bro. Now, I just hope what I wanted to get Rafe for valentine's day will be in stock soon. If not, I have a plan b. *^_^*

I think that's it. - Well, that was convenient (Long story about a CC) 2008-02-02 04:46:16 Well, one of my credit cards was due to expire Feb 1. I was wondering when my new one would arrive. A few days ago, I got something from the CC company with the new PIN # for the new card and if I hadn't gotten it yet to call. Well, I hadn't seen it yet, so I thought I'd give it a few days to see if it would come, in case there was a mix-up. Nothing. So I was going to call Monday. Well, I was ordering my mom and Rafe's b-day presents. It had been a while since I had shopped online, so I went into my mystical bag of random mail and paperwork (CC Bills, Bank statements, order invoices, etc, as well as all the random CC offer/junk mail stuff that I stuck in there b/c I didn't feel like dealing with it at the time.), and pulled out a random envelope to make sure I had my address (mainly the ZIP code) correct. Well, I checked the address, and it turned out to be right. Then I looked at the envelope to see what it was. It was an unmarked, unopened envelope. (Like the one that just has the return address printed on it but doesn't say from whom.) I figured it was just another CC offer, but I opened it anyway just to make sure. Low and behold, it was the missing replacement CC. *Cue light beam and angelic choir* Apparently, I mistook it for a random CC offer and put it in the pile with the rest. Luckily I didn't throw it out. What's funny was when I got the card with the PIN#, I looked through all that stuff to make sure it wasn't there, and I didn't see it. I'm just glad I have it and don't have to deal w/ the CC people to try and get a new one. I mostly just use it online, but still, I'd rather just have it and not have to worry about the possibility that someone else may have gotten a hold of it. Anyway. YAY!! Got the card. and have also ordered my mom and Rafe's B-day presents!! *^_^* Now I just need to wait for what I want to get Rafe for Valentine's Day to be in stock so I can order it, and everything will be set. O.o

Well, Almost done my SOAD2 segment. YAY!!!!! I more or less have all the clips laid and the effects done. The strobe effect in Premiere isn't quite working right on the last thing I was going to put it on. But I just need to get that to work, lay clips in 2 small spots, and polish, then its done and ready to beta. And if that's ok, then I just need to re-encode, and its completely done. YAY!!! *^_^* So hopefully that will be done in the next couple days. After that, just 3 more MEPs to go, and I'm done! *^_^* Plus Kev's vid and my Otakon vid. WHEEEEE!!!!!

Rearranged the apt. Its looking more and more like an Otaku pad. (Which my bf was expecting to happen. Since we're both anime freaks, so once you get both of our anime/anime merch in the same place, that tends to be the result. I still giggle. :P) Might post pics at some point. :P

Well, I finally feel like I'm starting to get my life together. The past couple years, I seemed to always be stressed, and yet I accomplished nothing. I just kept digging the hole deeper and deeper. Now, I seem to be getting a better handle on things. I'm finally getting my MEP segments done, I'm finally finishing things that my friends had asked me to do a while ago. Still no job, but I'm more comfortable and doing better with the whole housewife thing. If I did somehow land a job, that would be great, but right now, I'm not quite as stressed about it. I would like to go to school soon, though. Losing weight again. Might make my goal in a couple months. Getting better with finances. Should be straightened out by March. (Would be by next month, but there's both my Mom's and Rafe's b-days plus Valentine's Day to buy presents for, so yeah. :P) But I just feel a lot better about myself this year. Of course, now I'm living with Rafe, so no family stress. And he's actually here now (as opposed to when he was gone for 2 months.), so no loneliness. And its after the holidays, so no holiday stress and weight gain. YAY!!! Gettin' it together! *^_^*

So, almost a month after the holiday season ended, I finally updated my forum av and prof pic so they're no longer Christmas. x_X Now they both have Griffith from Berserk. *^_^*
On another happy note, I finally finished Rainbow Cotton and am getting close to being done w/ SOAD2. YAY!!!! Just a few more MEPs to go, and I'm done with that for a while. :S
