  • FWEEE!!! 2008-02-23 03:55:59 Been about a week. I guess I should post. . .or something. . .O.o

    VCA-ness: Well, Hello Moon, Goodbye Kitty didn't make finals. Didn't really expect it to. There's much better vids out there. (Though thanx CodeChrono and Moonie for missing it. *^_^*) Kinda sad that Centro didn't make it for anything. :'( And kinda wondering why Super Cute Girls made the finals for action. O.o Its a great vid and all, but it didn't really strike me as the epitome of an action vid like a lot of the vids that DIDN'T make the finals. But eh. I agree with comments that were made earlier. All the vids that are in the finals definitely deserve to be there, but for every category? O.o Like the vid pack though. (Still need to go through and watch it. #-_-#)

    Ok, so need to finish Undercover, Ill Nino when it gets back up. (Though I can probably fix the stuff I need to fix now, then make sure everything still matches up if the transitions get changed.) Then MEPs are finished and I won't be joining any more for a while. As far as solo stuff goes, I have my Otakon vid, the vid for Kev, then I am completely clearing my external to embark on a project of epic proportions that could only involve. . .Dragon Force. 0_0 Rafe knows of my idea, and completely gives his seal of approval. In fact, he's going to be getting a new HD, and he said that if I need more room, that I can put stuff on there as well, since we share a network connection and he can make it so I can access stuff on his comp. *^_^* Should be interesting.

    Yesterday was Rafe's b-day. He got let out of work early b/c the weather was supposed to be bad. (but it wasn't really that bad.) I've been fighting off being sick for the past couple days (My bro had starting coming down with the flu while I was there, and I'd been doing terrible things to my sleep schedule, so as a result, I've felt like complete and total shit the past couple days and have been doing nothing but sleep.) So yeah, I was asleep til Rafe woke me up at about 5:30pm. I felt so bad. :( Then I gave him his present. (Please Teacher box set, Slayers Season 2 box set, and 3 volumes of the Berserk manga.) FINALLY! I had been getting really nervous. He knew I was getting him Please Teacher, so I wasn't worried there, but he didn't know about Slayers and Berserk. And he had been wandering around Anime Corner Store a lot lately. He mentioned Slayers NEXT once, but he said he was waiting til March on that. *deep breath* I was really nervous about Berserk because he had been talking about it a lot and on the Berserk manga page whenever he was on the Anime Corner Store site. And I don't usually buy him manga. So yeah. But all went well. Went to On The Border for dinner. That was tasty. Then we came back and watched Green Green. Then he went to bed. Happy Birthday Rafe! *^_^*

    I hope Rafe doesn't think something bad happened to me when he wakes up. So, I drink a lot of Crystal Lite. Like the little packets you put in water bottles. So, I reuse my water bottles. And so I usually put the packet in and fill it up. Except when I get a new water bottle and I kinda have to put the packet into the water. I had a cherry-pomegranate packet that I was going to put in. I kinda forgot to take some water out of the top, so when I shook the bottle up, I guess I got an air pocket and the powder didn't mix with the water. It just stayed at the top of the bottle. So, I went to take a sip and inhaled a bunch of the (red) powder. And in my surprise, snorted out red snot on my arm. If Rafe came out right then with red stuff on my nose and red splatters on my arm, he probably would have figured its too dry in here, or I ran into something. (Luckily, he doesn't like horror movies and/or watch as many as me.) Well. by the time I got to the bathroom, the stuff on my arm had already dyed my skin red. Luckily most of the stuff on my face was UP my nose. So hopefully my face isn't totally red. (I couldn't tell if it had all come off because my face was kinda red from scrubbing.) Though I had fun trying to get it OUT of my nose. At least it cleared out my sinuses. :P I came back and found out I got a couple splatters on the wall. I got the worst of it off. I'll get it all off later. So that was my excitement for the evening.

    So that's what's missing. Apparently my cats knocked one of my speakers off my desk. I'm sitting here "Left speaker, monitor, Hello Kitty, Squall, Sesshomaru, why do I have extra room? I could barely fit Sesshomaru when I got him." Yeah, missing the right speaker. *picks up speaker* Now I'm not. *^_^*

    Apparently living with a girl still throws Rafe surprises. Particularly when sorting through the mail, and finding a girl in a bikini looking up at him amidst the random bills and junk mail. Apparently he was taken off guard by one of my clothing catalogs. His face was priceless. :P (At least it wasn't the Fredericks of Hollywood catalog. lol.)

  • Happy Valentine's Day! *^_^* 2008-02-15 02:26:34 Well, today, Rafe took me to Olive Garden for dinner. That was yummy. Then we came back and exchanged gifts. I had gotten him a couple of the Sinfest books (one of his favorite webcomics.), and he got me a denim Hello Kitty tote and wallet set and the most adorable Hello Kitty coffee mug. (The mug itself is pink with lipstick and purses and stuff on it, then it has this ceramic Kitty head topper lid type thing that goes on top. Its so adorable!!!! *^_^*) After we exchanged gifts, [censored]. Then Rafe installed his new DVD drive that he got today, we both talked to relatives. Then he went to bed, the cable went screwy, and here I am. WHEEEEE!!! *^_^*

    Well, got all presents in and wrapped. 3rd disk of Death Note finally came in too. (Since I HAD to get the limited edition thingie which came in after the regular disks. :roll:) Waiting on 1 more package (which is probably the one that came in yesterday) and I have all orders for right now. (As opposed to Rafe, who is waiting for ALL of his.)

    YAY! And now that I turned in SOAD2, D&G is dead, and I gave Rafe my edit ready footage files (he's getting ready to do a Saikano vid), I can take Saikano off my comp! WEHOO!!! Can't decide if I'm going to start in with Azumanga vids next, or Gankutsuou. (My best/most ideas are with those.) But of course, there will be more Hello Kitty vids coming. *^_^* And then Kev's vid (not telling what the source is, other than its one of the ones already on my comp that is NOT HK. ;P)

  • YAY!!!! 2008-02-08 03:47:51 Done SOAD2!!!! Got my final turned in. All is well. Also have Rainbow Cotton turned in. Darkness and Grief closed, and Odd Pair will most likely be doing the same (Though he'll probably try to restart it again in the summer), so that's 2 less to deal with. Will probably be dropping Rap Connection due to lack of inspiration. If it doesn't close 1st. So that leaves Undercover (if that's still happening and if Nerd can keep himself unbanned long enough to run it. :P) and Ill Nino, when that's up again. And Improv. (maybe. ;P) Wow! I can actually see the end of the pile of MEPs. :O So now, working on my Otakon vid and the vid for Kev. Probably won't be joining many MEPs this year, which means more (and hopefully better) solo projects from me this year. WEHOO!! *^_^*

    Well, happy with the publicity Hello Moon, Goodbye Kitty is getting with the VCAs. There hasn't been a HUGE spike in hits/DLs, but there's definitely been more than usual. Pretty soon, its going to have more hits/DLs than ALL of my 1st vids from 2005 even though it only came out about 6 months ago. lol.

    I just looked at the cat picture in DJUltima's journal. And they almost look like Rafe and my cats. (The grey/brown/black tabby with the white around the mouth, and the black cat with the bald spots under the ears.) O.o Anyway, got pics back today, so I'll probably be posting cat pics in the near future too. Also finally got my Otakon '07 pics developed. :P
