Well, I got an unwanted burst of inspiration and started doing something for the remaining segment of Dragon Force. Got about 30-35 seconds in, and got a burst of inspiration for my Otakon vid. As much as I would have liked to have submitted a Hello Kitty vid, I don't think I can make it work in the amount of time I have to work with. So I changed anime and its working out nicely. (Though in a normal sort of way. :/) Hope to have it done soon so I might have a chance of getting my 1st beta for Clow II done by the deadline. (I talked to CodeChrono, and he said everything was ok, but I'd still like to have SOMETHING done on it somewhere around that time just on principle. :S)

Why do people keep taking this banner so seriously? It has a fucking chibi Squall on it. How can you take that face seriously? It was meant as a joke. Like making fun of the people that do seriously think that way. Like trying to lighten the mood a bit. Hence why I used an overly cute chibi and not something badass looking. *sigh* I guess I'm the only one who finds stuff like that amusing. Or one of the only ones who doesn't take every banner completely seriously.

I should probably get the stuff to start me and Rafe's Otakon costumes. Not that they will be hard to make anyway. (We're going as boy and girl Ranma) I'm making them both to fit him (with drawstrings or elastic on the pants, obviously), so that's means no difficult female tailoring. :P

Malcolm scratched my arm last night. He was sitting beside me on the couch while I was watching TV, like usual. Then Pepe jumped on my lap and laid down. They were both falling asleep when Malcolm suddenly decided he had a problem with Pepe's tail. . . And my arm got in the way. :S Ouchies! :(

Ok, the transfer from yesterday still hasn't hit. If it doesn't hit sometime today, there would be really not much point for Rafe to have done it. Since my VA check will be hitting at Midnight on Monday *sigh* Stupid preorders coming in more than a month ahead of time and taking me by surprise.

But on a happier note, the clothes I had ordered with my Easter money came in. Though the pants are a bit too big. And they were on Clearance, so I don't think I can return them. Which kinda upsets me, because the whole point of me getting clothes instead of anime is because with all the weight I'm losing, my old pants are getting too big. And the belt I usually wear (like, the one that still fits, isn't too big, and isn't a useless fancy satin one.) just broke. Maybe Rafe has one I can steal til I get a new one. But I got my really cute Hello Kitty t-shirt! *^_^* (The shirt is berry colored, and it has a black silhouette of Hello Kitty with a white guitar, and it says "iRock")

kaplah - /heartattack 2008-03-27 22:58:06 Well, Rafe wound up bailing me out. He transferred money to my bank account so I could pay my CC bill, and I pay him back on the 1st. Hopefully it will hit my bank account tomorrow so I can pay my CC and hopefully have everything sorted out here in the next day or 2 in time for it to be shipped out. And as long as Lucky Star doesn't come in tomorrow, everything should be good and back on schedule. *^_^* (And hopefully I'll learn to keep enough on my CC to cover preorders from Corner Store up to TWO months out instead of one. O.o)
- Time for me to have a heartattack 2008-03-27 14:04:29 Ok, so I had preordered the 4th disk of Death Note (with the figure). It was supposed to come out April 29th. Robert's Anime Corner Store (whom I usually order from) usually gets stuff early and ships when they get it. Well, I wasn't expecting it in til at least April 1st, when I get my VA check. So, I went ahead and bought the 4th FMA box set last night while Rafe and I were at Best Buy. (With the Credit Card that I usually buy anime with. . .the same one all my preorders were reserved on.) Well, Death Note 4 just came in today. . .more than a month early. After Best Buy, I no longer have enough money on my CC. . .and with it being end of month, I don't have the money in my bank account to make it be enough. . .And it will be at least 5 days before I do. O.o FUCK!!! @_@
