- Creepy 2006-05-30 01:24:05 Ok, I just want to say, my "My Banners" page is kinda creeping me out right now. I had 4 banners in this batch. Once I found out my 3 had been approved, I submitted the 4th one which had a spelling error I didn't catch before submitting it. So when it came back rejected and I found out what my mistake was, I fixed it and resubmitted, so I have the same banner back to back on the "My Banners" page. Which really wouldn't be a problem, except that it's animated and has Hello Kitty peeking out of various places on the outside of the big black rectangle in the middle. Having one on the page isn't bad, but having 2 Hello Kitties repeatedly peeking out at me. . .and not always syncronized. . .yeah, kinda creepy. Particularly at this hour of the night. (It's 1:15 am over here) But in having the page look kinda creepy, it has taught me a valuable lesson. Don't make spelling mistakes and make sure to thoroughly scrutinize every banner before I submit it. . .several times. . .in an almost obsessive-compulsive manner. Ok, I think it's bed time now.
- Half Asleep 2006-05-28 01:48:30 Ok, about to fall asleep. Tried working on a funny Sousuke banner idea, but at my current level of half asleep and the size/quality of the pic I wanted to use, it's not working out right. I'll try to fiddle with it tomorrow. I should really be workin on Hello Kitty Banners. I have one pending approval that's really cute, but damnit, it's my mission in life to get at least one Hello Kitty banner voted worthy. Speaking of Hello Kitty, I need to rip all my HK DVD's so I can start doing HK AMV's again. The next one I'm going to do is to BYOB by System of a Down. What's really fucked up, I'm actually going to try to keep the political undertones of the song in the AMV. . .with all the cute little HK characters. Teehee!! This is going to be funny! My next one after that will be to My Own Summer (Shove it) by Deftones. And once I get myself up to doing animation, I'm going to be putting it to Dragula by Rob Zombie, but with HK & Friends rav scenes. Teehee!! Anyway. Currently working on Ranma 1/2 to the Limp Bizkit remake of 'Faith'. Should be interesting. Plah! You know, I've seen all my worthy banners pop up except for my new Barry the Chopper one. Fmeh. Oh well, I've seen enough of it while I was working on it. Well, I should go to sleep. Rafe and I are going to the Philadelphia Art Museum tomorrow. Night Night
- Didn't want to do this anymore 2006-05-25 15:10:53 Ok, I told myself, I wouldn't talk solely about banners in a journal entry anymore, but I go back to being baffled about being completely out of touch with people's tastes. I had 3 banners in that last batch. I had one that I was sure was going to be worthy, one I thought could go either way, and one I was pretty sure was going to be an unworthy. The one that could go either way, the blue one with the angel chick, was voted worthy. The one I was soooo sure was going to be worthy only got 64 worthy votes. The one I was sooooo sure wasn't going to be worthy. . .wasn't worthy. BUT. . .was only one vote away from being worthy. I'm so confused. Oh well, at least I got a worthy one out of that. Ok, I'm done venting my confusion now. Have fun!!!
- I'm back 2006-05-24 17:01:21 So yeah, I'm back after about a year of dealing with life. Starting a new Ranma vid (Since Rafe needed me to rip/encode it for him since his wasn't working. So I have it sitting on my HD and thought I'd use it) I want to start a new Hello Kitty vid in the near future. It's going to be completely fucked up of course. The Ranma vid is just going to be amusing. In my down time, I've just been doing banners. This time, I have a better program, which means *drum roll* better banners. Wehoo! So yeah, 3 of them have been voted through. WEHOO!! I always seem to have an outburst of banners when people don't get on to approve them for a while. The last time that happened, I had my 3 waiting for approval plus 2 more waiting to be uploaded. Right now, I have my 3 plus one more and working on another. We'll see how many I get done before they start approving again. :P Anyway. Fmeh! Magic fun stuff. Well, Rafe said he's going to op Angst and be completely and totally honest about it, so I'm bracing myself to get ripped a new asshole. Hopefully future videos will be MUCH better and not warrant getting ripped a new one in ops. (Though they completely deserve it.) Well, I think that's about it.
- out of the land of the living (at least online) 2005-08-29 01:59:40 Well, my internet got cut off. I'm writing this from work. I got adobe premiere. But now since I get better graphics, it is now more apparent than ever how much I need a video card. So right now my AMV's are a bit backed up. I have a list of about 20 videos to do, but there's really only about 2 that I know I can successfully do w/o jmy computer freezing up. (Both are Hello Kitty videos. WEHOO!! One I'm putting Inuyasha and Hellsing in w/ it, but I'm manipulating all the frames so I can put 2 or more animes in, so now full video clips will be used. The other one is going to be partially video clips, partially my own animation (Teehe!! Hello Kitty rave scenes!), but the video clips aren't going to be extremely complex, so I think my computer can take it.) I did an Inuyasha video w/ premiere, and it kicked major ass!! But I used the old footage that I had encoded from my old crappy encoder, so the end result looked kinda crappy, so I have to re-encode w/ Gordian knot and redo the video. Well, all my videos have star ratings in the 3's, and I have 4 ops on Shoot the Kitties. Everyone (at least that opped) Loved it. I guess cause it's such a bizarre idea. Teehee! Just wait for Hello Kitty w/ Rob Zombie!! Other videos are about where I left them. Anyhow. I gues that's it.
