- Insanity and amusement 2006-06-08 19:33:12 Well, my dance recital is in 2 days. . . AND I STILL HAVEN'T FINISHED MY TAHITIAN SKIRT OR FIXED THE STRAPS ON THE GIRLS'DRESSES THAT I MADE!!! AAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! But at least the insanity is ending in 2 days, and I'm starting costumes early for next year, instead of rushing around at the last minute and still not getting everything done. Then I can just hang out with Rafe for a week, and make banners, and finish my AMVs, and maybe even go back to my RP community. And just generally relax and have fun. WHEEEE! Then eventually start costumes again. :P Plah!But I'm almost done the Inuyasha vid. I have all the clips layed out, I'm just working on all the overlays and general effects right now. Hopefully I'll finish that soon. And in the world of amusement and animals, my cat is more obedient than my mom's dog. My cat will answer to his name, go for walks with me (even without a leash. Never tried leashing him), play fetch, be protective of me and the house (as much as he can for being a declawed cat. He'll at least stand in front of me and growl at intruders), and just general stuff that dogs usually do, but he generally takes care of himself like cats to. The dog will answer to anything said in his direction, and will proceed to jump all over you and not leave you alone, even when you tell him to go lay down. On walks, it sometimes takes a lot of pulling on his leash to get him to go where you want him, he doesn't play fetch, he just whines and looks worried or does nothing at all when there's intruders. And today was a good example. I took the dog for a walk. The dog, who was on a leash, was trying to go all over the place. The cat came with us and followed along behind or next to me of his own accord. He knew to go in the direction of the house after the walk. The dog tried to keep walking down the road and I more or less had to pull him over towards the driveway. Once I got him to the driveway, he was trying to go off towards the yard instead of the house. I tapped my leg and said "Come here". The dog just stood there, the cat came over. Once I got the dog and cat inside, I proceeded to play fetch with the cat. There is something wrong with this picture. My mom says my cat has species issues. Anyway. Hooray for rambling.

Um, yeah. Anyway. Got burned out on the yaoi vid I was working on (I have a very short attention span), so I'm taking this oppertunity to redo a vid that I never posted on here b/c my footage sucked. It was the first vid I had done on Premiere, but I had finished the thing and watched the finished product, when I realized WMM wasn't the only thing giving me crappy video quality. It was also my old encoder. So, I never uploaded it and thought I'd wait to redo it. So now, I have Gordian Knot and Adobe Premiere and I'm redoing the vid with better quality. (Though the anime/song combo I'm using has been done 20 times on this site, but I haven't found any to my liking with the sentiment I'm giving it) So yeah. It's a fairly easy vid that will at least give me a sense of accomplishment so I can finish my other 2 that I'm working on.
10 days to my b-day. Rafe has leave next week. WEHOO!!! He says he can't do what he wanted to do for my b-day, but we'd still do something nice. OOOOOOO!! And he also said we're going to Orlando, FL/Disney World for a week for Christmas!!!! I'm so excited!!!!! So yeah!
And my dance recital is this Saturday. (My mom teaches Polynesian dance) I still haven't really done anything on my tahitian skirt and I need to fix the straps on the dresses I made. (I'm now the official studio seamstress) I can't wait til this is over!!! Then I can go back to my little RP community, and do banners, and sew stuff for myself, and do graphics for the HP fansite I work on, and do AMV's. YAY!!!! So yeah. (Mainly b/c I was bored and taking a break from my vid) I don't know who's side was worse. The thread starter for being a complete retard, or everyone else for not just ignoring the ass and yelling the same thing over and over again. (Though I agree with everyone else's comments. Yes, if you type "Yu-Gi-Oh" into the search, you will get EVERY video with Yu-Gi-Oh that the site has. Just scroll through and find something interesting, then DL & watch. Even I, the ditzy SpEd of laziness and procrastination will do that every now and again. Even w/ popular AMV animes like FMA and Inuyasha) And while the answers were relevant (despite what he was saying. Hey, an answer to a question he didn't ask would be giving a complete report on purple llamas, not telling someone whose taste you don't know where to find AMVs based on the vague description he gave) I don't know if it was necessary to repeat it ad nauseum. If he didn't get it the first time, or again when it was explained in different, possibly smaller words, it's probably best to just leave him in his own jerky stupidity and try to help someone who truly needs help and will actually listen. It would have been funnier to see him yelling at himself b/c everyone left after he wouldn't take their good advice. ^_^ But now I'm probably doing the same thing as the people in the thread. Oh well, at least it's in the safety of my own journal. lol. Oi, I guess now that that's done, I suppose I should go back to my video. I might actually finish it one of these days. Luckily, I just have to fit clips for the choruses and a couple music spots, then do the effects. YAY!!! OOOO!! And it's 12 days til my b-day!! Rafe has leave all next week so we can do something for my b-day. . .whatever that may be. Ok, I think I'm done rambling now.
- So. .. . 2006-06-04 02:48:41 Still working on the Ranma/Ryoga vid. Added the drop "drop the soap" & "prison" references today. lol. This should be amusing. I'm a little drunk right now. So yeah, people are watching my vids again for some reason. For a bit, I got a sudden outburst of QC's for "Don't be Late, Sousuke". Which, in my opinion, is my suckiest vid. Kinda amusing. My last 2 QC's on it back to back was one person loving it b/c I used System of a Down (kinda silly reason to base the "goodness" of a vid on, but hey!), then another person saying the song ruined the vid (in my opinion, it was much more than the song that ruined it) I also got QC's on ReDemon (they liked it. My best one on here in my opinion, though that's not saying much) and one on Full Metal Angst (Yes, I realize the video quality sucks) Also got an op on Shoot the Kitties (They more or less put my own opinion of it into their own words. My opinion being "Cool idea, execution is a bit "eh") Hopefully my new stuff will be much better. But I won't be using WMM, so that in itself will be an improvement. Well, back to my vid and being drunk.
- Ok 2006-06-03 01:59:40 So maybe the Ranma/Ryoga vid will be done first. I started it, and I can't stop!!!! This is just too amusing. This would be my first shonen ai/yaoi vid, so this is an interesting experience for me. Rafe is just laughing at me. (From VERY far away, I might add. Like most straight guys, he is NOT into yaoi! Though he said he'd be a beta audience for me if I wanted him to. ^_^ ) So yeah, the Ranma/Akane one will be amusing too, just in a different. . .well, straight kind of way. I should work on that one too at some point. Then I have 2 more Ranma 1/2 ideas that I'm going to start when these 2 are done. (since I have it on my HD) One will be a vid about Ranma and all his suitors (of all genders. :P Kuno's going to be in there too) The other one will be a surprise for when I start working on it. When I first told Rafe about it, he was like "What?! How the hell is that going to work?!" then once I explained it, he thought it was funny, though vaguely disturbing. Fmeh! So anyhow. Trying to decide if I should go back to the Ranma/Ryoga vid or go to bed. It's about 2am here.
