And now, as a warm-up to Gothik II, I'm working on doing a vid for Bounce for SOAD2. . .with that series that scares me. (Eiken) And its actually turning out. . .WTF?! Oh well, I guess we all have to try something new on occasion. O.o

I've learned my lesson. I'm only joining one MEP at a time. Right now, its Gothik II. (Since CCII:TCOL fell through. Though if it starts up again and I can make deadlines, I'll still do it. And I have Ill Nino almost done, so if that restarts, I'll be fine.) So yeah. Luckily, with my idea, I think everything I need is on one disk. So that helps. Anyway, almost done ripping. Next the real pain. . .Encoding. >.> Anyway, I wanted to try and get this new MEP vid done in the next couple months. Since Rafe might be PCSing around the time when all the deadlines are. And since I have nothing better to do, I think I can get this done in that time and still have it look good. You know, I should probably also think about finishing fixing the vid I submitted to Otakon so I can take FMP off Rafe's comp. :S

I wanted to murder my cat today. I had gone to bed around 4:30am. He started pounding on my door around 10am. Finally, after that had gone for about an hour, I let him in. Then for about the next 2 hours, he would meow in my ear, lick my face, try to get into the blankets, try to eat the cords that run under the bed, play with the blinds, etc. At one point, Rafe's cat, Malcolm, had come into the room and gone to sleep on the bed with me. Both of us had just started drifting off when Pepe came in and starts making a big commotion, waking both me and Malcolm up. He finally settled down around 1pm. And I wound up sleeping til 3:45pm. -_- *sigh* stupid cat.

So yeah, my 27th b-day is Tuesday. But my mom and bro came down to visit this weekend, since they can't come down during the week. (Its like a 2 hr drive.) So yeah. So we hung out and I made stroboli. (I make teh awesome stromboli! *^_^*) So yeah. Then Satursay, we went to go eat at On The Border for dinner. When we got home, I had a b-day card in the mail from my friend that I hadn't talked to in the longest time. So that was awesome! *^_^* Then I opened my presents from my family and from Rafe. (YAY! finally got to find out what was in the mystery box that's been sitting around the apt for the past couple months. :P) So yeah. There was a pretty nice digital camera with accessories (memory card, case, cleaning kit, tripod, etc) in the mystery box. Which was one of the things I had guessed at one point. YAY!!! *^_^* So more kitty pics, plus I can now post in the "Lets see your rig" thread, not to mention the fact that Otakon is coming up. So YAY!!!! *^_^* And then from my mom, I got a Nintendo DS. And it's metallic pink. And its so adorable! *^_^* Plus she got me a Hello Kitty case for it, and Brain Age. (She didn't know what games I liked.) *SQUEEEEEEEE!!!* Yay uber awesome b-day presents!!! *^_^* Then, later that night, we went to Cheescake factory. Definately an awesome b-day celebration, even though my b-day isn't officially til Tuesday. >.> But yeah. Then they left today, and me and Rafe went grocery shopping. And I've been playing with my toys. *^_^* WHEEEEE!

Another piece of coolness, my vid was accepted into the Otakon AMV contest. It wasn't dq-ed for being almost an hour late. YAY!! (Though it sounds like he took all entries that were at least making an effort to be uploaded somewhere in the vicinity of on time.) But yeah, that's a load off my mind. . .at least until pre-screen judging and finalist lists and stuff. >.>

Not getting enough hydration, sleep and exercise for a couple weeks, then drinking alcohol and doing moderate to intense cardio is not a good idea. :S Now I feel really nauseous. I've been sucking on ice cubes and then downing water when I have moments of lesser nausea. I just wish if I was going to puke, I'd do it already. And if I was going to be ok, I'd hurry up and be ok. This sux! :S

@ CodeChrono-Condolences to your family about your aunt. *hugs* And don't worry, I'm going to be 27 in a week, and I still don't know what I want to do with my life. >.> I have vague ideas and things I'd LIKE to do, but no real plans or any solid ideas. I just have been taking life as it comes to me and trying to make the most out of every opportunity that comes my way.
