- Happy Father's Day 2006-06-18 19:29:22 Well, yesterday was my b-day. I'm now 25. Yay & stuff. We did the family thing w/ cake Friday and got my presents from my parents. I got a cool dragon statue with this light up crystal, new belts (mine one broke), a custom made purse, a pink stuffed cat and a bamboo plant. Then yesterday, we went to Ikea b/c my b/f had never been there. That was fun. Then my b/f and I played putt putt golf then went to TGIFridays where he gave me his presents. He got me the season 2 box set of InuYasha (See previous entries for explanations of why I specifically don't have season 2) and a pink Hello Kitty body pillow (My room is done in pink Hello Kitty.) Well, he said he wanted to do something he didn't have the money for. I thought he was going to propose, but it turned out he had found an Adobe video editing pack (Premiere, AfterEffects, and a couple others) that he wanted to get but didn't have the money. You know, I'm such a nerd, I'm not really too upset he wasn't going to propose. I would have been almost as happy with the software bundle. lol. Though I guess it'd be easier to upgrade software than a husband. (I'm sorry, that was terrible) And animemusicvideos.org got me a worthy banner for my b-day!!!! (The navy blue "Mystique" one) WEHOO!!!! Anyway, so today was Father's Day. I decided to be funny. My step-dad's always saying he wants a pool, so I got him a kiddie pool, though it's actually pretty cool. It has a blow up bench in it and it has built in cup holders on the sides. So we've been having fun w/ that. Well, Rafe's been here all week, but he just left. :( Yeah, we're going to be doing a vid together. We were listening to Panic at the Disco. I don't really like them very much, but he loves them. On their "famous song" (the prologue one) I was saying that the only part I liked was the techno sounding musical break. He said he thought the rest of the song was catchy. So I'm doing the musical break and outro, having a lot of fun with epilepsy inducing effects of course. He's doing the rest of the video in a somewhat normal fashion. So overall, my part and his part might be using about the same amounts of effort. lol. Anyhow. fmeh. It's really fucking hot. I might get back in the pool. later!!!

- No longer my Korean B-day 2006-06-17 02:45:22 It is now my b-day in E coast US. Hooray!! Happy Birthday to me!!! I'm now 25. Today, I get to go to Ikea, then my b/f, Rafe, is taking me out to TGIFridays for dinner. Not sure if we're doing anything else. He hadn't gotten me my b-day present yet (he's more or less been with me all week, plus he said he can't get me what he originally wanted) so he's supposed to be doing that in the morning. I think he's either getting me the InuYasha season 2 box set (I had the season 1 box set, plus all the seperate DVDs to seasons 2 & 3, plus half of season 4 when I lived with my ex b/f, but he had bought about 6 of those DVDs, but we couldn't remember which ones, so he picked 6. He ended up with 6 of the 9 DVDs of season 2. I was just going to get the box set and sell the 3 DVDs I have.) or this Hello Kitty comforter I was wanting. (My room's all done in pink HK, but my comforter is a bit old and worn. I've had it for about 6 years.) We'll see what he ends up doing. I think he was orignally going to propose. He said he wanted to do something, but it wasn't financially pheasable at the moment (really nice engagement rings are fucking expensive. And he heard my last fiance that he stole me from spent a few thousand on that ring, so I think he at least wants to compare, if not out do) And when I asked him what he was going to do, he said he couldn't tell me b/c just because he couldn't give it to me now doesn't mean he wasn't going to try to in the future. I was like "What, for Christmas?" And he got this mischevious look in his eye and said, "What, I need a reason to do something special or give you a present?" And we already have a kickass vacation planned for Christmas, so I know it wasn't a trip. And besides, he's been a bit too mysterious about it for it to be a trip. Fmeh! So yeah. For father's day, I decided to do something silly. My step-dad (have no clue where my real dad is. Granted, my parents were already divorced when he disappeared on us, but still) had been saying he wants to get a pool (Like one of those 5' above ground ones) or a hot tub. Well, kinda as a joke, I got him a kiddie pool. One of the 2' deep blow up ones. My mom laughed her ass off when she found out. Still deciding if I want to wrap up the box and give it to him or set it up and surprise him. Or set it up and wrap up the empty box just to be silly :P Anyway. I think it's about time for bed.
- Happy Korean B-day to me! 2006-06-16 21:45:00 Tomorrow is my b-day, though it is my b-day in Korea right now, as Rafe pointed out. We did my b-day cake/present stuff today b/c everything is kinda screwed up with fathers day being the day aftre my real b-day. So yeah. Happy Korean b-day to me. Officially speaking, I will be 25 in about 14 hours. (My mom said when I was born, it took about 12 hrs and I was nice enough to be out before lunch. Then she asked her best friend to go get her a pizza and a 6 pack. Hooray.) Fmeh. Well, all kinds of neatoness and Hello Kitty.
