My one cat, Pepe, likes to play fetch with jingle balls. (Yes, I throw the ball, and he will bring it back to me. And if I'm asleep and he wants to play, he'll jump up on my bed with it and drop it next to my head. -_-) Anyway, sometimes Malcolm just watches, or he joins in playing. (Though he will either just swat the ball around or attack Pepe.) This time, Malcolm had his head sticking out from under the chair, watching Pepe play fetch. Well, I threw the ball in the direction of Malcolm to try and include him in the playing-ness. I meant to just hit the blanket, but instead, I wound up bouncing it off his nose. Poor KitKit. :'(
In other news, my bro just joined the Navy. O.o - HOLY SHIT!!! 2008-07-21 15:38:39 I made finals for Otakon. 0_0 My vid got moved from action to comedy. . .and now I'm up against DokiDoki. >.> (I was considering putting it in comedy, but I didn't think it was funny enough. But meh.) But still, I made finals. YAY!!!! Well, now I have til August to get it org ready. *^_^*
- Age is catching up 2008-07-19 23:03:37 And I feel awful about it. Especially when it causes me to do things I would never have done before. :'( On another note, Malcolm is annoying me and I need to work on me and Rafe's Otakon costumes. *sigh*

Will probably be getting results of contest next week. Hooray. I get a better gauge of how bad my vid sucked. :roll: Getting the fabric for Rafe and my cosplay costumes this weekend. (Going as the Ranmas, for those of you not paying attention. :P) Need to find a pattern too. At least for the jacket. (The pants I could probably do without a pattern.) Just ordered the wigs. I hope the one I ordered for me isn't too short. :S Well, it at least looks long enough to braid, so things should be at least passable. (Rafe has no hair, and mine isn't long enough. Not to mention I don't want to deal with temporary sprays or dye my hair such an ungodly shade of red.) So yeah. fun. And if anyone's been procrastinating and needs a place to crash for Otakon, give me (or Immorrel) a yell(pm). We'd prefer friends/people we've actually talked to, but w/e.

Joy! Made it to next round of the Miss Anime Universe contest w/ Sakaki. So did Rafe w/ Louise from Zero no Tsukaima. (I made it comfortably, he just barely squeaked in.) I find that rather amusing.

Need to edit. Need to finish/fix up Bounce for SOAD2, work on my GothikII vid, and maybe fix up the vid I submitted to Otakon. Since I have the feeling it will be premiering this month. :P (I had decided if it makes finals, I'll premiere after the con. If it doesn't, I'll premiere it when the finalist list comes out.)

Finally watched Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. (Just got the box set.) I loved it. . .until the last episode. That last episode was just really anticlimactic. Hopefully there really will be another season like I keep hearing/reading. :S

Been having really weird, and really vivid dreams lately.
A couple nights ago, I had one involving Griffith from Berserk. And some castle that a HS was trying to put on a play in. And it belonged to Griffith while he was alive. But the Griffith that was in the dream had actually been dead for a long time and had just been resurrected. And some girl he was in love with was also resurrected or a ghost or something. And now that he was "alive" again, if he was feeling spiteful, he could make the castle fall apart. So the arrival of the girl complicated matters with the play, since he was kinda upset at seeing her again. So I was trying to keep the two apart so that the castle would stay in tact long enough to do the play. (And no, the castle and girl had nothing to do with the anime/manga. But the guy was definitely Griffith.) And in addition to that, there was also cast/crew drama. And yeah.
Last night, I had a dream I went to the mall and ran into a guy I knew in HS. Then we talked and he asked me out. But I had plans with my mom that night, so I called her and asked if we could move our plans to another night. Then she got REALLY mad at me. And somehow she showed up at the mall. And I was trying to keep our fight away from the guy so he wouldn't change his mind. And then my mom and I got into a fist fight about it. (My mom and I have a really good relationship IRL, btw.) Finally, she stormed away, and I went to the ice cream counter to retrieve the sword I had asked them to hold for me so the guy and I could leave. Then, as we were going to his car, he became one of my other friends from HS (who has the same name, ironically.) And then there were two girls with us who needed a ride home.
All sorts of oddness.
