- On the messed up geography note 2006-06-29 01:12:22 My 15 yr old brother serious thinks that Nicaragua is in Africa. What's really funny was that I think it was last year, he was the county rep in the state geography bee. And he actually beat out other people to get there. :O But he was eliminated in the 1st round of the state bee. *sighs* What are they teaching kids these days?

Wow! I've gotten 4 ops in a span of 5 days. awesome!!! I thank everyone who left said ops. I really appreciate it. Even the person who didn't like Shoot the Kitties, but at least gave specific reasons why they didn't like it instead of just flaming it. Yeah, the scores brought my average down a bit, but they're entitled to their opinion and they at least were able to somewhat justify giving them. And to the other person who oped Shoot the Kitties, I'm glad you and your 6 yr old sister enjoyed it. (These 2 opers shall remain anonymous, as I don't really know them or talk to them.) And now, Kikai, I've already thanked you for your op, but I'm having a moment here, so I'm thanking you again. Thank you for the op. I'm glad you enjoyed the vid and that I did a decent job for my first time. *^_^* And now, the award for the most helpful, inspirational op goes to Eva-Fan. Granted a lot of the helpful things you said are already in some stage of being rectified, but you were still helpful. And it's nice being told that people have faith in you. I hope I can live up to that. . .if I can ever get my attention span to settle down enough to finish a vid :P And I'm glad you like my banners. There will be more of them in the future, I promise.
Glomps to everyone who oped!!! WHEEEE!!!!! - Kikai 2006-06-28 15:43:04 Awww. I liked that banner. It was funny!!! I can't wait to see new banners. Well, I've started some amvs that are decent, but I don't have the attention span to finish them. So I'm doing a MEP and a project with my b/f so that technically I don't have to finish anything. . .except the 1 minute clip for each project. That's part of the reason I do banners. It's something I enjoy doing that I'm somewhat decent at that can be done within the confines of a short attention span. WHEEE!

- Am I good or what? 2006-06-28 15:17:47 So yeah, I had 3 banners up for vote. One I was sure was going to make it and 2 that I thought could have gone either way. I'm usually bad at calling it. Everyone seems to have different taste than me, but this time, I got it right. I thought the Rip your own banner was going to make it. It did. I thought the Explore the possibilities one and the Wild one could have gone either way, and they both got in the 80's. Wehoo!!!I'm just happy I got at least one worthy out of that. Anyway, off to figure out where I put the DVDs where I had put FMP when I ripped it the last time so I can start my MEP.
