- Verm 2006-07-02 02:39:48 Yeah, I read Gone with the Wind back when I was a book nerd instead of a computer nerd. (I still read quite a bit, but not quite as often as I used to or as much as I'm doing something computer related) Yeah, thousand some pages of sappy romance. (well written sappy romance, but still sappy romance) I don't think I could do that anymore. My attention span's gone to hell. But yes, I've been wanting to at least see the Scarlet movie, possibly read the book, if not for anything but curiosity. I'd like to see what happens. And I can understand you and no HK action stuff. Or even no HK. As I told the person who oped my HK vid who really wasn't thrilled w/ it, "The whole world might not be ready for a HK Korn (metal) video" I might be that into HK and find that kind of thing amusing, but not everyone in the world is quite ready for that amount of cuteness or that variety of warped.
- Verm 2006-07-02 02:17:21 Well, actually Gone with the Wind was, of course, orginally a book by Maragaret Mitchell that got made into a movie. Though later someone (I forget who) wrote the sequel, Scarlett, which is supposed to be Scartlett going to Charlston looking for Rhett. That too got made into a movie. (Though I haven't read the book or seen the movie) I'm watching the original movie, but the DVD is on 2 sides b/c it's really long. I watched the 1st half of the movie on the 1st side the other night, but now I'm going to flip it over and watch the 2nd half on the other side of the DVD.
- Good Morning Verm. ^_^ 2006-07-02 02:09:14 Anyhow, today could have gone better. First off, I was supposed to cash my check today, but no one woke me up, so I have to wait til Monday. Rafe was of course playing video games when I woke up. So we were supposed to go bowling today to avoid my cousin's wife (who we all hate)'s graduation party. So yeah, it was supposed to be a family thing, but only me, my mom and Rafe went. My step-dad, Tom, was in a mood and didn't want to go. My brother, Jay, had sprained his wrist and said he didn't want to go. So we left. When we get there, my cell rings and it's him wondering where we were b/c he wanted to go. So we bowled. Then while he waited for my mom to pay for our games and me to put my shoes on, Rafe went to the arcade. I didn't know where he was until my mom found him there. And he was there forever playing the same game when we very obviously wanted to go. And both of us have bummed knees, so we can't stand around forever. But of course he can't just let the game go and leave. He had to play until the stupid game said he was done. So we get home. Jay, of course was upset we left w/o him even though he said he didn't want to go. Tom was supposed to be cooking but decided to go out instead. So after it was decided we were going out, but while things were still up in the air, Rafe went to play video games. . .again. So we're sitting around waiting, but I didn't know for what. It turned out it was Rafe. So I go in and say, "Hey, I think everyone's ready to go now." He says, ok, and continues with his game. I assumed he was just finishing something and was coming out. We sat and waited, and finally I told my mom to just go ahead and go. They left and I went up to my room, then Rafe had apparently gone outside and locked the door thinking we were going when he heard the car, but they had already left, so he started yelling out to me. I came down and let him in and was wondering why they left. I told him that I had said everyone was ready to go but he just kept playing, so I told them to go. So yeah, more foonocity and we finally go to Arby's. On the way home, I swear he's practicing for married life because he's like, "I'm sorry for all that. Just sometimes you say things to me, and it doesn't register, so I ignore it." GGGRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!! So we get home and Rafe had brought his Game Cube so we could all play Mario Party. So he hooks it up and gets everything ready for when people get home, then we sit down and start watching Vandread. Then everyone comes home and Tom comes out and starts yelling that we better unhook the Game Cube when we're done. Then me, my mom, Jay and Rafe start playing Mario Party, and of course Jay has to be the worst sport in the world about it. I just wanted to slap him upside the head. So it gets done and I'm walking around before we start watching Vandread again, and apparently my mom had turned the outside lights on and Tom, who was outside, apparently didn't want them on and starts yelling at me when I look out the door at the cats to "Turn the damn lights off!! Why'd you turn them on. I had them off for a reason!!" So I finally just turned the damn lights off. So we start watching Vandread, but it's really hot in that room. We can't have the door to the rest of the house open b/c then the dog will come in and start bothering us, so we opened the front door. Suddenly, I hear someone come up and close it. I look at Rafe. I figured it was Tom, and I didn't feel like dealing w/ him anymore, so I was just going to deal w/ it being hot, but Rafe said it was Jay and opened the door again. Then Tom comes bursting in yelling and screaming, "I don't want any mosquitos in the house!" then storms back out and slams the door. I'm pretty pissed. Not only did I have to deal w/ another one of Tom's outbursts when I'm trying to relax and enjoy the show, but it's all because Rafe was the one who insisted it was Jay and HAD to have the door open. Thank god Tom finally went to bed, slamming doors behind him. AAARRGGGHH!!! I swear it's like male asshole day or something! Anyhow. Sorry to ramble, I just had to vent. So yeah. Hopefully all the males in the house will have settled down by tomorrow. I don't want to have to deal with an entire weekend like this. And thank you random QCer, though I'm pretty sure I know who you are. I'm glad you enjoyed Don't be Late Sousuke more than Shoot the Kitties. I can assure you, the rest of my vids have more action in them than Shoot the Kitties. Because while Malificus may have been able to do a somewhat decent job of a HK action vid, truth be told, there isn't much action in HK. And this is a long entry. Anyhow, I think I'll watch the 2nd half of Gone with the Wind and go to bed. I need a good estrogen kick after being bludgeoned with testosterone filled madness. So yeah. Oh, and Eva-Fan, the banner's up. Yeah, like anyone will get to the bottom of this entry. Anyway, Later!
- Eva-Fan 2006-07-01 14:38:01 Yes, Baccardi and I are pretty good friends. Though luckily not as close as we used to be last year. (long story). lol. Anyhow, now that I'm awake and sober. Well, I took another look at the banners I did last night, and while they could have come out better, they're not too bad. They're still better than some of the crap that shows up. Which it's pretty sad that I can still turn out better banners than quite a few people when I'm pretty thoroughly drunk. Eh, whatever. Yeah, I'll be sure to include Baccardi in the fun if I ever watch NGE. lol. It's one of those that isn't way at the top of my list of anime to watch, but it's still one I want to watch eventually. Anyhow. Well, have fun and cheers!! Hopefully will be doing more banners, only this time sober. :P
- Guess What?! Particularly Eva-Fan & Kikai 2006-07-01 04:10:51 I did another banner!!!!! I just submitted it. It's waiting on approval. Eva-Fan, since I told you I would do more banners just for you, I even found pics from the anime I assume you used for your name, NGE, and I used one of those. Considering I'm drunk off my ass, I'm not sure how good it is. But be on the lookout the next time there's new banners up for a red banner with one of the NGE chicks on it. (Never seen the anime, so I'm not sure who she is. But I do plan to watch it. Once I work myself out of the pile of anime my b/f has dropped on me) So yeah!! On, to do more banners!!!!
