Kikai & Yeiweh: Eh, I'm not really much on fanfics, but I used to do the graphics for a Josh Herdman fansite before it shut down (He plays Goyle in the HP movies) and got sucked into doing a couple Goyle/Josh fanfics. (One was a Goyle action/romance that I wrote on my own, the other was a challenge. I had an hour to write a Josh short fanfic in the genre of horror. That ended up being severely warped.) But maybe I'll stop by sometime and read you guys' stuff. - Yeiweh 2006-07-11 17:50:01 *hugs back* Glad I could help. It's always nice when people appreciate constructive critism and uses it to get better. *^_^* Like I said, it just makes me sad when I see a really good banner ruined by stretched images. Which is exactly the case with your banners. And don't worry, most of the new banner makers I talk to, that is usually the problem. They're new to their program and haven't found the ratio button/box/option yet (Or don't think to use it)and so turn out cool stuff with stretched images. (if pic quality isn't the issue, which it isn't w/ you) But I wish you the best of luck with your banners!!!! Aside from the stretchiness, they look great!!!!

Yeah, I'd say I've improved. lol. I think they only allow 3 at a time so they're not inundated with banners to approve. Though I do think 5 would be better. How many people really have that many up for approval at a time? And I agree about not always agreeing with what the general public likes. Most of the banners I really like end up unworthy, and the ones I'm not really thrilled with end up worthy. I just shake my head and go on. lol. And I hope you don't mind constructive critism on your banners. I really like them, but your images are a bit stretched. If you have the option of keeping the aspect ratio/proportions, use it. That way your images will resize properly every time. It just really makes me sad when I see a really good banner that is completely ruined b/c the image is stretched. But other than that, looks great!!!!
Kikai-Lol. That actually looks really cool. See that is an example of making stuff look good in paint.
