Yeah, I usually have the problem of having an outburst of banners and no one's on to approve them for several days to a week. So I'm sitting around with my 3 banners uploaded and about 10 on my comp. Which sometimes they come back and approve when I get the next batch on. Sometimes its several days again and I have even more banners stuck on my comp waiting to be uploaded. :P
Yeah, that really sucks. It's always nice when your significant other likes the same things you do. . .or at least isn't mean about making fun of you about it. (My b/f will still tease me about about my love of bishounen, shounen-ai and yaoi along with all my fangirlish anime tendencies, but he's usually pretty good natured about it.) I hope he grows up and will stop being so rude about it. I know that probably really sucks. -
Starting to get back into the world

So, I had disapeared off the face of the internet everywhere except for here. Now I'm starting to come back. I'm actually signing back onto Trillian more. I've gone back to MySpace and have responded to all the people I haven't talked to in the last forever. I might even update my page at some point. (And do new graphics for it. Though I kinda like mine right now. It's all FMA. I even have "Ready Steady Go" as my music) And probably after the SOAD MEP deadline, I might even go back to RPing. O.o
Ryn-I didn't see the banner and I didn't know exactly what the rejection email said, but I don't see why they would reject it for that unless you had given it a negative connotation. As for the changed font, if you change the font of the site name, it can't be directly under the logo or look like its part of the logo in any way. You'd have to put it somewhere else. Even directly above would work. Last year, when I had the sucky banners, I got banners rejected all the time and had that nagging paranoid feeling in the back of my head that someone didn't like me. (Though I knew it wasn't true) It can be frustrating, but what I do is just go through the checklist of what they look for (logo, site name readable. If it isn't, change the font and stick it somewhere else. All text psuedo readable, proper spelling and grammar, no messages too risque, nagative, or just iffy in general. . .unless I'm just having fun in which case I expect it to be rejected.) If I think there is the slightest chance they might flag it, I change it first, then submit. Or I submit it anyway and hope they take it. But not be too surprised if it gets rejected. I should have done more banners. I had uploaded one that I had done between stuff, but it kinda sucks. (It'll be up next round) And I count myself luckly. My b/f and I like the same music. We don't like exactly the same anime, but we have a couple shared favorites and we will at least sit through the other's favorites, even if we don't like them. And he was the one that got me into making amvs in the first place. In fact, we're even starting to do collabs. (2 in the works. A ranma one, and a Vandread one) I count myself lucky.
And on another note, I'm still waiting on my deletion request for the new vid so I can put the larger frame size, compressed audio version up. My star ratings on it keep going down. Right now, it's the second lowest in star scores. I don't really obsess about the stars too much, but I look at it as a way to gauge what the general feelings about the vid are. I'm hoping the low scores have something to do with the probs of the current copy, not that the vid itself sucks that bad. Oh well. Whatever. It's called keep making them better. Pleh.
