JOURNAL: Infinitum (Adam Kitching)

  • So much stuff.... so little hard drive 2001-11-18 01:04:53 Finding space for all the junk I got at MPU was a difficult process, however I did manage to get a lot of really cool stuff.

  • droooooooooooooooooollllllllll......................... 2001-11-16 04:21:28 An impromtu lan yesterday provided me with lots of cool albumns I had wanted for a long long LONG while.

    I am in music heaven.....

Well off to MPU tomorrow. Reedy has lots of VERY cool series I wish to leech including

Cowboy Bebop divx 19-26 (Though the DVDs will render these redundant)
Cowboy Bebop: Knockin on Heaven's Door
Vandread Season 2 (1-5 That's all that's been subbed so far)
Kenshin divx (These are the PROPER high-quality DVD rips)
    Excel Saga
    Sword of Truth
    DBGT

and hopefully from other ppl I'll be getting
Rune Soldier Louie (7 onwards. I'm not sure how many has been released)
    Outlaw Star
    FLCL

Lots of harddrive space needed methinks ;)

Also just finished watching Key: The Metal Idol. I didn't know what to expect from this series when I got it, but it really grew on me and now I can't get enough Key! I was actually put off watching it at first because the plot seemed to move so slowly. However entering the 2nd DVD my fears were put to rest and the plot started to pick up a LOT of pace. Truly a great anime and I highly recommend it to anyone who's in the mood for a 'slower' series.

Is it just me or was it frickin cool how Key destroyed the PPOR's in the first DVD at the restraunt?

I think I'll have to rewatch the series again now.... >_<

    Later

  • Door go smash. No more cash. 2001-11-14 01:57:13 Well just about finished my Dbz vid shouldn't take much longer. I had to retime most of the goddamn thing. I dunno why I was using the same wav file and movie. At least its all timed now so that's a major plus.

However I'm running out of footage to use so I'm gonna have to spread it out a bit. I can live with it

Hopefully this will be my 2nd last DBZ video (The last being Zim which I'll finished next)

Oh and by the by. Get yourself a copy of all 3 Key: The Metal Idol dvds. You won't be disappointed ;)

Only a few more weeks until I get Bebop on DVD.

    See you space cowboy :p
  • My fickle fate on file format fingering (Try saying it 5 times fast) 2001-11-11 17:14:32 Ok so here's how I feel about file formats

    BAD.............ASF
    NOT SO BAD......RM
    ALRIGHT.........MOV
    RIGHT UP THERE..AVI
    THE BEST........MPG

It's quite a simple concept really. Make sure its an avi or an mpg file and I'll download you files. I will NOT lower myself to download another crappy quality asf or rm file.

PLEASE PPL GET WITH THE TIMES!!!

Key: The Metal Idol dvds arrive today! Yeah ba-by!
  • 5 minutes past tomorrow 2001-11-10 08:15:02 Well I said I'd explain it tomorrow in my last post, but seeing how it is 5 minutes past tomorrow I think I've borked it once again...

    missed it by THAT much

But like most times when I'm talking I digress. On to why I will be rolling in dvds this Christmas

My parents went out last night.
My parents went to dinner with friends
My parents ended up at an auction (As you generally do at 10 at night)
    My parents brought home something
My parents bought a 1965 NRL (National Rugby League for the yanks) St George Vs Rabbitoh's Grand Final Jersey signed by 3 of the greatest players of the time from each team (Making a grand total of 6 for the yanks ;p)
My parents bought this for NO reason other than a spur-of-the-moment thing

You see why I will be expecting a very white christmas this year. Or at least a very round one :)
