Yesterday I went with a friend to BIOS,a bar-club in the centre of Athens where this event,organised by jmusic.gr forum, was hosted.Lots of guys and girls,lots of interesting cosplays and pretty enjoyable music with some well-known openings(Darker than Black,Bleach,Naruto,Gundam Seed,Death Note,Gravitation just to name some that come to my mind) and a lot other songs not related to anime(X-Japan,Gackt etc.).
Anyway,the catch of the night were definitely the cosplays.Lots of school girls from various animes,Haruka from Love Hina,Porko Rosso,ANBU ninjas,Bleach captains,Alucard from Hellsing,Lucy and Nana from Elfen Lied and - wtf - Super Mario.The company was quite enjoyable(although I knew noone except my friend beforehand) and we had a nice chat about everything.Lucky Star,Haruhi,Gundam Seed,School Rumble,Kabamaru and old-school animes were the hottest topics.Simply put,I arrived home at 5am but I had lot of fun...
Basically,for me it was very strange to attend such an event given that I haven't been with so many otakus at the same time for 3 years.When I entered the anime world back in 2004,I became member of animexclusive.com forum,a greek forum concering anime and manga.We organised lots of mettings where I met new guys with the same interests as me and for 6-7 months I was very active member with lots of posts and reputation.However,I gradually got bored and left the forums but I kept most of the friendships I obtained from there.In 2005 I became member of animemusicvideos.org but I only uploaded my amvs and downloaded others.I never used the forums.And this was the situation until these last 10 months.Suddenly I decided to become active and made some new friends from here.^_^
Nowadays,I'm member of other 2 greek forums concerning anime(these would be anime.gr and animeplanet.gr) but I'm only interested in the AMVs sections they have.I don't post in the other sections they have.
Btw,no editing at all during this week concerning amvs.Too busy!!^^

Lots of new amvs

Yesterday the amv announcements forum had so few new amvs while today the page was full of new ones.SF_Phoenix and CrackTheSky released new vids also,gotta check them out...
As for amvs,Offspring MEP is almost complete for me.17 seconds left and with 4 days off starting the day after tomorrow I'll probably finish it within the upcoming weekend.
Truthfully,I can't understand the reason behind many MEPs.Just a glance at the MEPs forum and anyone can realise that more than 50% of ongoing MEPs won't be completed.Anyway,I'm not the one to talk while I take part in 3 of them... XD
Today I met a friend of mine from my high school years.We had a nice chat and covered almost everything serious that happened in our lives over the last 4 years.Time sure passes quickly and sometimes it saddens me how we distance ourselves from our old friends due to various reasons - time,work,lessons,girlfriends -

Good morning org!!
Just woke up with a very good mood(in contrast to the last 2 days) and I'm gonna edit a bit for the next hours.Gotta finish the segments of MEPs,dammit...
The new semester began on Tuesday and it was a really sad to get back to studies after having 10 days of decent rest but it's ok.This is my last year at the university and I'll have to think more thoroughly about my future from now on.

ps:The weather has been playing tricks here in Greece.Last week was quite sunny and this week the temperature has dropped a lot with lots of rains.Well,Christmas is coming - it's only logical... -

It's 4 am and I don't know if I should go sleeping or just watch 1 or more episodes.
Today was a weird day.My parents have gone early in the morning to our cottage and I was left home sleeping when my brother woke me up by calling home.
Immediately after this phone,I went to bed and yet another call woke me up.Damn,so annoying.This time it was a friend of mine who wanted me to format his pc.Well,I had nothing planned for the morning so I accepted and I passed the following 5-6 hours doing the job and chatting with him and his brother.
At 6pm that I came home I immediately went to sleep until 8pm approximately.About 2 hours later,some other friends came,we watched a movie(Hostel 2 to be exact - yikes,she cut his dick - yeah,you know what I'm talking about...), discussed a bit and had some drinks.2 and a half hours ago they left and here was my dilemma.Should I go sleep or check any anime I have downloaded during this week?
So I decided to check Nana.I generally don't watch shoujo anime but this was a pleasant change.And I needed something more serious after Nodame Cantabile,Seto No Hanayome.And it has a wonderful soundtrack.Powerful opening and a warm,sad ending.

Just an update on last days

-Technical stuff-
My pc needs format as soon as possible and it may also be a good idea to change motherboard.Once in a while,it suddenly restarts and cannot get into Windows.What's more,if I restart it,it just freezes while searching for IDE drives.So only turn on and shut down for me.
The Internet connection came back last Saturday and it's gradually being updated.From 1Mbps to 1.5 and today it went over to 3Mbps.It was unbelievable to watch Azureus to download with 300kb/s...
-Personal life-
Lots of rest,amv-making and meeting with friends.Yesterday I went with some colleagues to watch a football match between Olympiakos and Larisa for the Super Cup of Greece.Today it was home day.I invited some friends at home to watch movie and stuff.It was lots of fun,we played Hotel(yeah,I know it's a quite old table game but it's still so fun) and we later watched the Simpsons Movie.After these tiring exams,we finally got a chance to meet each other after so long.
Tomorrow I'm thinking with some friends to go for 12 hours non-stop LAN gaming...just for the experience!! XD XD

The Offspring MEP goes ok for me so far.I have edited 25 seconds up to now and I hope to finish it quite soon.As for Ill Nino MEP,I haven't even chosen the scenes to use.^_^
I finally downloaded Bote's Man of Sorrows.Oh God,that was so good.Berserk and Bruce Dickinson,that's one hell of a combo!!
