  • JMS3AMV Announcements List 2002-10-10 18:52:08 I have just launched the JMS3AMV Announcements List. This will be a way for interested persons to know when new AMVs have been created, and to get other JMS3AMV-related news. If interested, please use the link below:

    Also, for those interested in receiving ALL my AMVs via the pre-paid mail option, TWO blank CDs are required for the CD-ROM and VideoCD options, as the total time of the videos is well more than 74 minutes (the length of a typical blank CD). A single videotape is still fine for NTSC VHS copies.  
  • New Month = Renewed Access 2002-10-04 10:59:43 October is finally here, and users can once again reach my site :-)

    Also, out of curiosity, I just checked my site statistics, and was stunned that nearly 18,000 unique visitors have been to my site :-) That number is probably from when I first launched the site (pre-JMS3AMV) over 18 months ago, but given how quickly my bandwidth allocation was reached last month, I assume a good chunk of that is from AnimeMusicVideos.org users coming to see my offerings. Arigatou :-)

    In terms of site changes, I am seriously considering posting only ONE image from each AMV, to lower the bandwidth usage and speed up the loading time. That will likely happen over the weekend. However, the textual information on each video will remain in place - no changes there.  
  • New Video Available Shortly... 2002-09-24 22:27:11 I have updated my Web site... but traffic to the site has been cut off until October due to excessive bandwidth as mentioned in my previous journal entry. I had now added "What is Anime?" - a short (under two minutes) video which is designed to make people think about anime beyond just the typical stereotypes.

    Along with this, I have also added information for "Romantic Eclipse," an AMV based on the Rick Hunter Saga of Robotech focusing upon Lisa Hayes and her memories and fears. I am still looking for music and ideas to use with Project A-ko, and am considering possibilities for both Devil Hunter Yohko, and Kaori (my favorite character) from SSX Tricky.  
  • "Surprise, Surprise, Surprise!!!" 2002-09-12 01:57:43 First, I am absolutely STUNNED that as of a few moments ago, "Am I Objectified?" has received 773 hits. That is just insane!!!!!

    Unfortunately, I went to check a link on my Web site a few minutes ago, only to discover that I have ALREADY hit my 6GB transfer limit for the month... and the month is not even half finished yet!!!!! I had thought that 6GB would be quite satisfactory... but I was apparently wrong on that account. Unfortuantely, given my job status at the moment, I cannot afford to purchase additional bandwidth, so the only way to get my AMVs now for the rest of the month is to follow the pre-paid guidelines listed in my first journal entry (below).

    Also, while I had been hoping to upload "III" over the weekend, the file is so massive (nearly 80MB) that my modem keep dropping the connection after about 50MB or so. Therefore, it appears that my longer videos shall NEVER see the light of day :-( So I shall content myself with posting shorter videos as time permits. I hope to upload a shorter video tonight, and make it available in the morning. Not surprisingly, since the 6GB limit is being hit so quickly, I am only going to be posting ONE video per week now; while it means fewer videos available per week, that will allow more people to download my work.

    Of course, the only way to see EVERYTHING I have done is to use the pre-paid option.  
  • GREAT NEWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 2002-09-03 15:02:01 I finally upgraded my AngelCities account to the fullest extent possible. This means two things:

    1.) No more ads :-)

    2.) I now have the Webspace necessary to post some of my videos :-) I actually have enough space to post everything I have created thus far, but all it would take would be perhaps five people to download all of them one time each to flood the account, so I am only posting a few at a time.

    Currently, "Heroine Addiction" and "Miss Mima Remembers" are available for download. I plan to upload new videos each week, likely Sunday night into Monday morning. My current plan is to post one of my longer videos next week, likely "III."
