- Well I'm still bored... 2002-07-14 18:23:06 Yah, I'm still really bored so I'm posting again. I just broke my gameshark again so now I have to re-return it and get a new one. The quality of those things is extremely low. Just twidling my thumbs aching to make a dang video... but not without Premiere I won't! OK, well I just got an idea, and I'm gonna go and research premiere and learn about the controls stuff so that when I do get it I can get right to the video creation...........and that would seem like the right thing to do except that it really won't be that easy... haha!

- REALLY BORED! 2002-07-13 04:11:12 Cool it's technically one hour into a new day so I haven't updated this thing three times yesterday! So yah I am really bored so I figured I'd just write stuff here because this is the first time anyone has ever read anything I write. I was trying to sleep but got the sudden urge to create a webpage for my AMVs. I didn't get far though because Flash confuses me alot. Hopefully Premiere won't do the same. I've been operating off of iMovie 2.2 and now it's time to pack the mac for a while and concentrate on my Dell. I guess it's a sweet computer but it is in desperate need of RAM (ONLY 64MB!!) and a 256er is SOOOO expensive! Man am I bored. OK, well my little bro is watching Evangelion so I might as well watch it and search for some footage that matches what I want for my AMV. LATA!

Hmmm... forgot to write about this.
Well it started out great up until I got my badge and headed over to the exhibition hall. Apparently AX has decided to organize things by creating one hour lines (AND NO SPEED PASS EITHER!!). So I decided to hold off on the purchasing the first day and went down to the arcade and then went to the video rooms realizing I had locked my badge in my hotel room. DUH!
On the second day I really didn't do much again. I waited in line for the exhibition hall and then I found out my friend hadn't given away his extra ticket to the AMV contest so I took it. Waiting 3 hours was not what I expected to happen though! Yes! That's right! 3 hours, 2 outside and 1 inside. The organizers definitely needed one of those identity changer things from MI:2 because they were on the verge of creating a riot.
On the third day I woke up, got some Starbucks, and then I went to wait for masquerade tickets. Once I had those me and my friend realized we had 3 hours left of the postponed AMV contest to catch, so we went. The video that won best in show sucked, and the fact that I had to sit through it 3 times sucked worse! I don't think anyone liked it, but the judge chose it because he thought that "A Total Waste of 6:35" would be a total waste of their efforts on the project (no pun intended).
On the fourth day I woke up, bought my Trigun and Evangelion boxsets, and left. It was kinda depressing cause I really haven't gone to any other con except that for three years, but this year that should change!
So it wasn't all that bad and now I have two DVD boxsets to make AMVs out of and I am...
