  • New vid coming up... 2006-02-28 14:17:46 I just watched Lain, came up with a brilliant AMV idea, and then went online to discover that A) the site is already overpopulated with Lain videos, and B) two people have done a Lain AMV to my song already.

    Nevertheless, I think I'm going to plow ahead anyway. I'm using a reworked version of "The Sound of Silence" by Art Garfunkel (I may switch to the Graduate sountrack version... I haven't decided yet). It's more theatrical and, I think, lends itself well to the message I want to portray. The aforementioned two videos focused more on death and violence and the creepy aspect of the series. Instead, I want to focus on Lain as a teenage girl and the concept of human communication--or lack thereof.

    So, this will be a Lain video that does not involve either the Chisa-chan suicide sequence or the murder in the Cyberia cafe.
